Suffice to say he's a tattoo artist, and joined the BF to promote his artistic talent, as he uses hiself and his pokemon as canvases

Bio: Born into an upper-middle class family, Solf showed an interest in the arts at a young age. His parents, who were not devoted pokemon lovers, decided to send him off to an Art Academy when he was young. Showing an aptitude in urban art and a rebellious attitude, he had become the black sheep of the family by the time he had graduated. When he had announced his plans to pursue a career as a tattoo artist, he was disowned. Out of luck and money, Solf set out on his own, gambling, thrifting and stealing his way into enough money to fulfill his dream: own his own tattoo parlor. Unfortunately, notoriety is key to any aspiring artist, and the shop began to go under. He entered the Battle frontier in the hopes to promote his pokemon tattoo art, as most of his team have tattoos from his shop.

Solf is not a very skilled trainer, but has developed some gimmick heavy trick-strategies to help him win gambles.

The Team:

Polluck the Smeargle: Was his first pokemon, and his best friend. When Solf expressed an interest in the arts, His Parents bought him this pokemon in hopes that it would help him aspire to be a great classical painter. However, Polluck was anything but classical: he was mischievous and sneaky, rebellious and troublesome. Young Solf looked up to his pokemon and followed in his example. All grown up, the two are now partners in crime.

Twombly the Denchura: as a bachuru, Twombly was the schools class pet of his elementary school, named after a famous artist. Solf, jealous of how cool the spider looked, stole it at age ten, keeping it with him always. Since he could not rename the pokemon due to it not originally being his, He called it 'Twombly the face shooter' to make it sound cool.. but alas, the timid pokemon ended up becoming the group wuss, and remains to this day very cowardly. Solf gave up the ghost and just calls him Twombly TFC now.

Faustino the Zuruzukin: If Polluck is his right hand man, Faustino is his left. The tough-guy is easily his strongest pokemon. Running his own gang of Zuruzukin in the City, Solf had battled it, lost with his two pokemon, and managed, barely, to finish the pokemon's last 10% of health himself. Intrigued by Solf's willingness to break the rules for profit, something it understands, Faustino has been ever loyal to his trainer

Hikari the Hitomoshi: Found in the attic of his new shop, and caught because of her shiney rarity, Solf's new pokemon is upbeat compared to the rest of his team, acting as his cheerleader. Whenever anyone asks where the japenese name came from, he just shrugs it off and says she named herself, as he usually calls her molly.

Sir Snaps the Waruvial: Caught in raised in the normal way, S.S. is a lot like Solf in personality, and is the persian to his Giovanni. Nothing pleases him more than setting up a tank run in a battle and knockin' em down one after the other

Elanor the Tentacruel: was sold to solf when he was setting up his tattoo business. Hearing about a pokemon from distant regions that made its own ink, he thought it would be the perfect pokemon to have. Unfortunately the man who sold him elanor was a conman: after taking the money and leaving, Solf was left with a grumpy, pissed off pokemon who rarely cooperated and who wouldn't let go of a certain item that, in her hands (tentacles), was both useless and dangerous.
