FOR OIT-276 - Ununununium

SO SINCE LAST TIME I finally had a chance to go back and pretty this up. They said after round one was over it was okay to edit the trainer form for aesthetics so that's what I did. The only "info" added was the genders and I figured that wouldn't be breaking any rules... other than that, fixed some anatomy issues, added some shading, gradients, and there you have it.

SO.

Francis (OIT-276)
Francis, Francis, Francis, what can we say about Francis... He grew up in the suburbia of Goldenrod with his siblings in a working class family home. You know that stereotypical picture of a suburban neighborhood where pretty much every kid knew each other and played in the streets playing with bikes, skateboards, and causing general mischief? Except. You know. With Pokemon.

Francis is an underachiever that never really "grew up." He loves playing pranks on people, climbing trees, playing with his Pokemon, playing loud music, going to parties, and attempting to [read:failing] to get a girlfriend. He also has a bit of a... preoccupation with appearances and being accepted as being "cool."

Francis plays around with the Punk scene but doesn't really stand it. He LOVES going to rock concerts and moshing with the rest of the crowd but barely knows the names of half the bands whose concerts he attends. He's attracted to the idea of being a "surfer dude" but can't surf to save his life [without a Pokemon that is]. He secretly enjoys chick-flicks and animated movies. Is there a Disney equivalent in the Pokemon world? Well there is now because Francis knows some of those movies by heart, every line.

As for his Pokemon, he trains very casually but is competent enough to hold his own in a battle. His Pokemon are one of the few things he actually feels a great sense of responsibility for and loves them as he would his closest friends. When training he's usually a very physically active participant sometimes even going as far as being a strait up sparing partner. It usually doesn't end well but fortunately Francis thinks it's fun.

As for the BFOI, long story short, Francis joined because A: it looked fun; B: going to a tropical island was the best excuse ever to get out of the apartment and the city and C: hot girls in bikinis. That is all.

His favorite color is green, his favorite animal is a gecko [bear with me here], his favorite food is pizza, and his favorite song is whatever that one song was at that last concert. You know, the one that made that one guy throw his beer on that one chick? With the tits? Yeah, totally man. That was so awesome brah. When's the next one?

Scott
Effectively the team mascot and the 3rd Pokemon Francis ever owned. Ever wonder why Francis's mohawk is highlighted red when his favorite color is green? Scott is the most rowdy and independent of the team and is a bit of a jerk with a sadistic sense of humor. Scott was named after a boy Francis looked up to in the neighborhood he grew up in. Of course the kid never did give Francis back his Gameboy after he borrowed it before he moved away... Scott gets along best with Doobie and his favorite Leftovers is burritos.
"Dude, no one can head bang like Scott can. Seriously. I know first hand. SO HARDCORE. Ow."

Billy Bob
The 4th Pokemon Francis ever owned, caught and brought home one day from the neighborhood creek. The spaced-out, laid-back yet resourceful one. Even though Francis can't surf for shit he still loves the ocean and loves being in the water, and Billy Bob is always his Surfing companion. Billy Bob is the kind of Pokemon you can go to after a rough day and he'll never think less of you. He's more intelligent than he looks behind that vacant smile. Francis gave him that beanie for Christmas one year and he never took it off.
"Oh. My. God. Look at that face. He is SO cute how can anyone NOT love these things. Wait... girls don't like them 'cause they're slimy? But but... ;___;"

Dude
The 2nd Pokemon Francis ever owned. Geodudes are one of the first Pokemon trainers encounter when they step out into the wilderness and Francis was no exception. While most trainers tend to catch and discard their Geodudes later on, Francis grew so attached to Dude that giving him up was unthinkable, even if keeping one in a small city apartment is a pain in the ass. Dude is the wrecking ball of the team, fiercely driven if not a little dull. Dude's name is a leftover from his first stage, and it stuck even after he evolved. [and a quick note, Dude's Sturdy ability plays by 5th gen rules so it acts like a Focus Sash]
"Okay. Seriously. This Pokemon was called Geodude. GeoDUDE. GEO. DUDE. I can't... it's like this Pokemon was made for me, man..."

Mosh
Mosh is Francis's very first Pokemon and by far the oldest as well as the only female Pokemon on his team. Mosh was given to Francis as a Snubble as a for his birthday one year when he was very young and they've been inseparable every since. Mosh was the reason was Francis ever became a trainer rather than one who just kept Pokemon as pets, especially after an incident in his childhood with some wild Pokemon that caused Mosh to loose the use of her right eye. Since then Francis vowed never to be weak, if for no one else then for his Pokemon. Despite lacking depth perception and her age, Mosh has a lot of energy for battle and having fun in Francis, especially when they go to concerts together where she lives up to her name. She is the most reliable of the team and the leader when Francis isn't around. She takes crap from nobody and even has the power to put the normally pigheaded Scott in his place.
"Big Mama Mosh. A hardcore best friend. She never lets me down and I try not to do the same."

Doobie
Doobie is the 5th Pokemon to join the team coming as a gift from a friend who couldn't keep him anymore. Something to do with illegal substances and in general not being able to care for him anymore. Doobie is even more laid-back and spaced out than Billy Bob if that's possible. Despite being the slacker of the team he holds his own very well in battle being one of the few things he enjoys besides loafing around on the couch. He gets along well with Scott being one of the few of the team that doesn't judge or berate Scott for his behavior.
"Oh man, Doobie is a total bro to hang out with around the apartment and oh god I swear those aren't mine it was my Pokemon I swear I'm not lying!"

Techno
The newest member of the team and the most high energy [in multiple ways] of all the other Pokemon. Francis got Techno as an Eevee from "some computer nerd a few blocks away" and was ecstatic when he learned of the diverse evolutions and Eevee could have. Francis felt the team needed more yellow. As a happy side effect, Techno became the "cutest" member of the team as far as a female audience was concerned which even lead to Francis getting a few dates [none of which lasted :c]. Nevertheless, Techno knows how to play up the charm whenever he goes for walks [which he needs a lot of being fidgety and rarely being able to sit still] with Francis and loves the attention he gets when he does. Despite being the rambunctious Casanova of the group, he's very humble and amiable with the rest of the team, looking up to the others as older siblings. His name comes from the genre of music Francis learned about after going to enough dances and raves [sort of a similar situation with rock concerts, he loves atmosphere but doesn't know much else].
"This little dude runs me ragged I swear. He just doesn't stop! It's like living with my very own Energizer bunny! Which is cool I mean, I like bunnies..."
