Description
The Dinvee is a reptilian species from the humid planet Macren. They have evolved in swamps and below the roots of trees, where its both easy to hide from predators and find smaller pray, as well as eatable fruits and plants, giving them a sleek serpent-like body, with the four arms being mostly cartilage and very bendable. They posses four eyes, two colour seeing for day-time, and two only seeing in black and white for night-time, giving them good vision at all waken moments. They are carbon based and use an iron based protein to carry their oxygen. Dinvee average at 4.3 metres from nose to tail, around 1.8 while standing, and a weight of 90 kg, regardless of gender. Their skin color vary, usually being bright blue, red, or gray. The carapace on their bodies does more than just protecting against attacks, it is also sexually dimorphic, with males having several spikes on their crest pointing upwards, while females have few edges except for it leaning outwards and childrens carapace following the shape of the cranium. They are the only known sentient race to have a two chamber heart.
Their culture and history is very peaceful, with almost no known wars and most conflicts solved diplomatically and through economic sanctions. No wars have been fought by them for the last 1000 years, making their army, fleet, and senate guard a ceremonial position rather than a proper war force, but they are still fully armed and equipped with modern hardware, and can respond to threats would the need arise. While they are not a single nation, almost all their nations and colonies are under the banner of the Neone empire, who coordinates the minor states. The emperors are elected by the senate, who in turn may or may not be democratically elected by the population, depending on state.
They started space exploration after scientists on the northern pole had discovered and activated an ancient wormhole device that was part of a portal network spanning the Horse Head Nebula in 439 CC, and had explored most worlds in the portal system by 1654 CC when they entered their first, and so far only, war on an interstellar scale. The outcome was a compromise which had the emperial senate agree to rights of religious freedom, equal right to education, and to give the colonies more independence from the homeworld, being actual members themselves, and the colonial factions agreeing to open trade with the other worlds and remaining loyal to the empire. The amount of Dinvee in the galaxy is estimated to 190 billion. Dinvee have an average life-span of around 160 years.

Neone is the oldest known government left from Macren, with historical archives dating back over 15 000 years mentioning it, at the end of the Dinvee equivalent of a bronze age. Ever since it became a superpower it have integrated any other cultures and states it came across, even if making voluntary inductees equal members of the empire, still keeping their regional government and culture, while being able to trade and come over technologies more advanced than their own. When the gate network was discovered they saw it as their duty to send out recon-science teams to face and interact with whatever was on the other destinations, to ensure peaceful contact was established and evaluate integration into the empire. After not finding any signs of sentient life they started colonizing the planets they found, and had established dozens of colonies before sending anything into space. They gained the technology necessary to build spaceships capable of both interstellar travel and atmospheric flight in an economically viable way, and the knowledge required to properly use kariro, first when they had established contact with the Alliance. They have established trade routes to several other species since, but remain politically independent and largely isolationist. The Emperial Army have around 12 550 000 soldiers, and the Navy 17 540 ships, with Assault Ships being their largest ones. The Emperial Guard and its reserves would boost the ground force with around 2 000 000 additional combatants and around 730 ships.
