Description
Here's another view of my finished Sidebottom puppet. You can see his side. And his bottom. Well, you could if he wasn't clothed. Um... oh, never mind it was hilarious in my head.As you can see, he's aware of his puppethood, and refuses to be ashamed of it. Power to the puppets!

I know you like to play around with Sidebottom's costume, but I thought the bit around his neck was more brown like a shortened version of Boober's scarf.

I'm sure Sidebottom would appreciate a cuddle or two. Even from a Silly Creature, as he's a fairly silly creature himself.

Wow! That is freaking AMAZING! Fraggle Rock was my favorite show when I was a kid and still is to this day. I was born in 1980 so I was watching it almost since it first aired.
Sidebottom has always been one of my favorite characters, and so has Boober, actually. He was my mom's favorite too. ^__^

Thanks! I'm actually relatively new to Fraggle Rock. I didn't have HBO as a kid. A few years ago I saw that Amazon had the box set on sale, and I snagged it 'cause why not, it's a kiddie show but it's Muppets, so I'll like it. After a few episodes I was hooked!
I've made a Boober puppet too. Just finished him a few days ago. You'll find photos at the top of my gallery.

I remember Fraggle Rock playing on the TNT channel because my mom would record it on VHS and it would have commercials for that channel. It must have been in syndication at that time, though, because we didn't have HBO either and I still managed to watch it. And in the early 90's it was on the Disney channel (back when there were no commercials during shows and movies, only in between).
I wouldn't know how to go about making a puppet, but when I was a kid I made plushies of Boober and Mokey. I meant to make Gobo, Red and Wembley too but never got around to it. I wish I still had them, but they were lost years ago. I used yarn for hair and ping pong balls for eyes.
