Previous: Next:Here's another clip from the outtake reel for Requiem with a Birthday Cake. Ambiguity is fun.
EDIT: I made this ambiguous on purpose. Sorry if you've been looking for a joke, but there isn't one today. As for what is going on, I'd like to see with what you all come up with.

I like your replies! I'd rather read one of these than a dozen "LOL" and "How many ghosts are there?" comments. You have intelligent thoughts and articulate them well. If I take a while to reply, it's either because I want to think about it first, or they're getting buried under a flood of "LOL"s. So don't worry, write what you want to say.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I try my very best to express myself as good as possible since English (both the verbal and the written word) is not my native language (Though I admit that poor spelling, grammar or conjunctions slips through... ).
No worries! I take no offense if I don't get a response. I'm not looking to pressure anyone into a conversation. To be honest I take my time too when writing a reply that may add something new in a comment section or conversation and voice my opinions while trying to keep a levelheaded tone in it.

You English is much better than a lot of the native speakers I see here, possibly because you take the time to think about what you're saying. Interestingly, most of the people I've known on and offline who were from Sweden have a pretty good handle on English. How long have you been studying and speaking English? Do you find it a difficult language? I've heard it is because it's so insanely irregular.
Heh, in my Muppet fanfics I sometimes give The Swedish Chef actual Swedish lines when it's not important that the reader know what he's saying. I have gotten E-mails from Sweden from people who were pleased to see that, and letting me know that because I add extra accent symbols his dialogue sometimes ends up looking Norwegian.

Really? Thank you! Yes, I try to think through what I want to convey in my messages so the risks of causing a misunderstanding decreases a little.
Hmm… Well, I’ve been learning English since third grade up to high school. During the high school years and afterwards I spend a lot of time doing role playing where we only spoke English to each other when describing scenes or the characters interacting with the other.
I do find the grammar, how to make the proper pronouns and to translate from my native tounge without making it too literal in English pretty hard. However, despite these problems I don’t experience English as too difficult or irregular to understand, altough I know that it needs a lot of work and perfection.
That’s really cool! I used to watch Sesame Street as a child, though I sadly don’t remember much from that show except Kermit the Frog, Ernie and Bert and the Cookie Monster, strange enough I don't remember or knew about The Swedish Chef.

You've been studying English for quite some time! Very few Americans know a second language unless it's spoken at home. I can muddle by in French and I've studied enough Japanese to pick up a good bit when watching anime, but I'm miles from being fluent in either. I envy people who can speak more than one language well. You qualify.
Huh, English pronouns are difficult? I wouldn't have thought that would be a problem. But then, I don't know how pronouns work in Swedish. I'd think that spelling would be one of the hardest things about English, because it is such a mess.
The Swedish Chef came from The Muppet Show, not Sesame Street. Did they make a localized version of Sesame Street in Sweden? I've seen bits of other localized productions, and they were neat and often weird.

Really?
I think it's cool that anyone can speak and understand other languages even if a little.
Thank you. But, I would've given up my left hand to be able to draw or write like others who're great at what they're doing. Like how you do too.
Swedish share some similarities with English that helps with reading comprehension and efficient vocabulary-building. The Swedish personal pronoun system, for example is almost identical to the English equivalent.
However, the Swedish verb and some pronouns systems are somewhat more complex than the English which makes it difficult. But, yeah, spelling is a pain in the butt too...
Hehe, and by the way, would you believe me if I told you that in Sweden, English has become such an intergral part of the social life that there actually are some people who throw in English words sometimes in their conversations?
Okay!
Well, I knew that they made dubbed version of the original Sesame Street. Now, after a little digging I gathered that they actually had their own, albeit short-lived co-production of the show in the early 80's. I believe it ended pretty fast because the show in general consisted of real life people and barely had any of the Muppets in it, except for a couple of dubbed clips of them.
Yeah, we made and still create some weird television stuff.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that them balloons represent their souls/spirits!
... Gosh, with that idea in mind : Wouldn't it be kind of sad if Springtrap's balloon were to get popped?

You can feel sorry for him if you want. I don't. He's still a flaming SOB, he still lacks the vaguest touch of empathy, and he's still an active murderer. All his suffering is his own doing.
I've got a comic coming up that will deal with that issue...

Yeah! It's not like YouTube as in there isn't usually a guy to call you retarded for little to no reason other than being yourself! That's what I like about deviantart, most people are so nice here! Although I am new, and not really an artist. so how would I know?

Exactly, also everyone has the potential to be an artist,
it may not be drawing or painting but there are a wide
variety of mediums and arts out there!
Also there's nothing wrong with being a new guy, it's
awesome to have another member of the crew on board

Ballons represent souls in the game, so I guess it's what you meant here? Their souls are still trapped in this world, that's why they can't leave. And that's why springtrap's balloon is black? Because his soul is dark?
Also I love easter egg with poster, this is really clever

Negaduck9 In reply to Forunth [2015-06-02 13:38:52 +0000 UTC]
Pretty much. That's what the balloons stand for, and why one is black. As for the poster, that happens in the game on that camera, and I couldn't resist putting it here.

AllyN-One In reply to ??? [2015-06-02 06:06:05 +0000 UTC]
Sooo... One balloon is for Springtrap (maybe the black one) and the second one is for Marionette (white). They have a chance to move on but one of them has to deserve this (Springtrap here). He's not ready yet and he has to change and open his eyes. But his egoism makes him blind so he can't see this chance. Marionette deserves it but he doesn't want to leave anybody behind, so he must stay with Springtrap and wait for right moment. He must teach him first.
This is my interpretation.

BINGO. We have a winner!
I may do a sequence resolving this issue. It's be an AU to the AU that the Springaling comics are to RwaBC. That's a pretty distant alternate universe! But when an idea seizes me, I go with it.
BTW, if you'd like to see what the title is about, do a Google image search on "School for the Gifted." It'll turn up a classic the Far Side cartoon. That cartoon is a running gag between me and my mother.

Close. He's trapped himself, but I'd hate to think that because of him the others are still bound to this world. I prefer to think that the Puppet is voluntarily staying behind, thinking that there is some hope, however faint.

I'm thinking of it as the balloons being symbols of their escape, but Springtrap is too blind to see that his way to leave is right in front of his eyes.

Negaduck9 In reply to Xarishro [2015-06-02 12:10:06 +0000 UTC]

Without the people they are meant for, they aren't going anywhere. If The Puppet were to take his, it would carry him away. If Springtrap were to try it, however...no dice.
