This actually reminds me of my kitten I once had; And lets say (Because I don't want to make anyone here have horrible or worst thoughts), it didn't end well for my kitten when I was on vacation. I will admit that I didn't expect the dog story to be brought up, so I was mostly surprised.

My friend had a turtle, she love it and would take it everywhere she could, it was part of the family. One day it disappeared and her mom told her it ran away. Her TURTLE ran away. She found out later that her mom purposefully ran it over.

I will say that despite the comments, I don't foresee Springtrap giving anyone a hug anytime soon. Based on his backstory and everything, I doubt it would feel natural for him to hug someone. If anything, I'd imagine him just feeling awkward, but trying to open up.
