Hit me right in the feels. Reminds me of my cat who died of old age. Lets just say it still hurts and most of the time you can't let go of it. Plus I was going to say "I love you" to the cat after school but i guess i couldn't.

I know the feeling. In particular I remember an African gray parrot my family had. It was an old, very non-tame bird that had obviously been abused; it was terrified of all people. I tamed it, and it considered itself my bird; it always went to me and paid little attention to anyone else. Eventually it went the way of all old birds, and I missed him badly. Like the Fox told The Little Prince, what you tame becomes special and unique to you.

Oh my... I love how there are different emotions all in one place without getting too chaotic. For an example, I snickered at Springtrap's reaction when Richie started to tell his tale and the seemingly reaction "Did that thing just touch me?!" in the last panel (
Not that the other Springaling arcs hasn't been able to play our heartstrings like a violin or or not been able to feel human either, (for me) this arc takes another step down the storyline where it's main focus is BOB aka Springtrap, but without taking too much spotlight from the other cast members which makes the story flow naturally.
I've never seen any of the other strips before the Three main arcs as "fillers" though. I've imagined them material for the reader to get to know and establish a relationship with the characters while there are jokes and sillyness along the road. But it gives the reader time time to get invested in them , to get curious, to want to know the secrets, even if these secrets are things that are best left forgotten... for now.

Thank you. Not every comic is a step straight toward the conclusion. I think it's better to get to know and understand the characters; that makes the story line more "real," at least to me. If you don't get a look into their hearts, well, a story gets to be like a game of chess, watching the pieces move around from an uninvolved outside perspective. That kind of story interests me not, and I won't write that way. It does present a challenge when it comes to comics, as I can't very well have a lot of narration or interior monologue.

You're welcome! I don't mind reading stories that are decipted like that, but for it to work I personally think that kind of story has to have an interesting and consistent plot along with characters with enough personality to pique my interest. But I prefer stories that makes me feel something, like empathize for the characters for example or get a better understanding to how they feel in a certain situation.

If the first owner basically says "Meh, I don't want it any more, you keep it" then it's fine. But it's an implausible part of the story, which is why he doesn't believe it.
