I mean, you right that it ain't mlp. But we ended up getting a better fighting game in the end with a more proper engine and mechanics.
Also you can always play FiM: tribute edition if you need to scratch that pony itch.

Pom's actually a sheep; she has horns here because she's been crossed with Absa from Rivals of Aether, another indie fighting game with funny animals (though RoA is more Smash Bros. inspired, whereas Them's Fightin' Herds is a more traditional fighting game like Skullgirls or Street Fighter).
