Let's look at it this way, then.

The bible itself is tl;dr. It's fucking a lot of words. Half of what the dude just wrote was bible verses. So what stopped you from reading it?

Oh yeah, that's right. The bible is something you agree with that suits your beliefs. What that guy wrote isn't, so therefore because you don't agree with it it's not worth the time you would happily dedicate to reading from someone who shared the exact same views as you.

That's what I hate about people like you. It's not an opinion to you, to you it's the unquestionable truth and to hell with anyone who disagrees. You've got an enourmous double standard and don't happen to see anything wrong with it. No matter what you say or how you bring God into it, you're in the wrong here.

Religion does contain many facts at all, and you have no evidence the devil does "bad" except going against God's ways, which have proven to appear quite evil. Makes one wonder.

What about the flood he supposedly made? The story of Noah's arc? Heard that one? He killed so many people and animals then. By the logic of the religion and the Bible. How can you say that God doesn't like killing people when your own Holy book states so many times that he did kill people?

That has been my argument since my granddaddy tried to choke me with "the words of God". God, the all knowing and all powerful, created everything, EVERYTHING. He created Satan and he created humans the way they are. He doesn't make mistakes yet time and time again people have suffered for simply being human(I feel sorry for the Jews.) Good and bad don't exist in the natural world, all that exist is perspective. There is so many hypocrites brainwashed by the Bible that it almost makes me sick with rage talking with one of them. That's why I love reading and hearing about the books missing from the bible because they show so much more.(For example, Lilith, mother of the she-devils)

Umm, just because Almighty God and Evil Sin both excists doesn`t mean God should immediately destroy the Sin, FORCE people, againts their own free will they have 100% rights to have, belive in Him and make sure there will never have anything bad in this world. That`s absolutely ridiculous claim! No wonder you opposite something as good as the Bible.

DreamingBlackLeo In reply to TheAntsaBoy94 [2013-04-21 14:45:50 +0000 UTC]

God created everything, right? That means he also created sin. What God gives us freewill but says that if we go against him(argument or otherwise) that we spend eternity in hell? On another note, God says things such as being homosexual is sinful, and yet he created Atheists and homosexuals. It has been proven that they're mind works differently than others. Here is a video that helps prove my point; [link]

TheAntsaBoy94 In reply to DreamingBlackLeo [2013-04-21 17:47:50 +0000 UTC]

If we go againts Him, we choose to go to Hell. People may sin, but there`s still way to be saved from the Hell without stop being a sinner (which is impossible in this lifetime anyway), you know, and that`s really, really nice of Him. Afterall, He gave us that opportunity by sacrafising his own son, no less! And it`s not like He forced Jesus to die in the cross, either. Jesus did it because he, as the Son of God, also loves people more than anything and wanted to save us.

And as a matter of fact, Hell wont last forever forever, all eternity. In the original translation there`s two words for eternity, one being only one certain period of time/era/age like Hell, and other being truly everlasting, like Heaven.

Also, God loves us even though we sin, but can`t let any sin to Heaven, which should be crystal clear. If not, you`re really questioning these things a little bit too much. And while it`s true He created every human on Earth, He did not create us to be Evil. That part is the work of Sin, in case you don`t know anything about the Bible at all (which I certainly belive to be the case). And thanks to that, people are, in fact, able to be sinless as long as Holy Spirit is within them (very limited period of time). In Jesus`s case though, the only perfect human ever exicsting, Holy Spirit was always within him, thus Jesus did not commit any sin.

Lastly, I still don`t see how their minds works differently than others. Whatever did you mean by that?

DreamingBlackLeo In reply to TheAntsaBoy94 [2013-04-21 22:09:22 +0000 UTC]

"If we go againts Him, we choose to go to Hell" Exactly my point when it comes to freewill. God gave us a choice to either suffer or follow his every command. That sounds like a tyrant with too much power.

I stated that he created us with freewill, sin, and with the other differences between us. I did not say he created us to be evil. When Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden, they were "perfect" and yet Eve was so naive to have trusted the serpent, apparently they weren't perfect enough. Then he kicked them out, and gave them problems of the body, such as death and birth pains.

It has been proven, through C.A.T. scans and such, that a transexual man DOES in fact have the mind of a woman. I'm not sure if sexuality has been proven to be a choice or not but it's too obvious that it's not. There has also be studies with atheists stating that they do not use the same brain muscles that religious people do when contemplating god, using more logic over faith. I don't remember all of it but that's the just.

And let's not mention he also flooded the world, killing everything that wasn't on Noah's boat, to rid the world of the "wicked" people and the offsprings of the angels.

TheAntsaBoy94 In reply to DreamingBlackLeo [2013-04-22 10:53:56 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, only that a tyrant with too much power have choise of letting people be even though they may disobey them. God, however, does not. Not to mention tyrant`s are extremely selfish and only ask people do what`s for his own good. Loving God, however, want people to obey His orders as it`s good for all of us. If somebody asks "Why does God want people to treat eachothers nicely? What does He get from that?" the answer is simply that the people He loves are treated well. Certainly not the type of guy anyone should consider as tyrant, don`t ya think?

Of course not perfect perfect, even angels makes mistakes, but at that moment they were created, they were not under the power of Sin and thus didn`t do anything bad. If they were created to be perfect perfect, obeying God always no matter what...well, that couldn`t be considered as having a free will, now would it?

Of course there`s no logical explanation in the laws of physics which would explain how Jesus walked on the water, but as the said event is not completly impossible either, it`s good to have that part in our brain, too, so we wouldn`t so damn closeminded, not beliving in anything we can`t see and witness with our own two eyes (which makes people beliving in Big Band theory but questioning God because of "logic" hypocritical when you think about it), just because we have to me so damn sure about every single thing, which is impossible for a mere human being anyway, even to the point you guys belive to be possible or even belive to have! There are many, many things I don`t understand. There`s also many things I belive I understand, but how the heck can I tell for sure I`m not wrong about it? The thing is, I can`t! I am...we are both just mere human beings whose logic has some faulthy we can`t realize all on our own, at least without prober thinking. And these are matters we can`t find the truth just by thinking things hard enough.

Sexual orientation is not, no biologically nor in any other way, thing that cannot change, no matter how unfitting you find to use the word "choise" about it. There are people who have truly turned from homosexuality to heterosexuality and vice versa, and all you can do is to deal with it. Or actually, this is a matter of belief, too, because I have no 100% undenyable source to prove what I just said true, either. And what come to scientific view of the matter, I`ve herd there have been no homogene found, only something that might increase the odds of the person becoming gay. Also, there are indentical twins with different sexual orientations.

The one who gave us everything, life and place to live, even though we don`t deserve anything, have right to take it all back. Just letting them all live instead of doing what He did, things would surely gone to the worse direction. You may ask, if He could make the world better place by killing 99,999% of the people, why couldn`t He just do that again? The thing is, God wanting to flood the world and ask Noah to build that huge boat and save all animals and his family just might have, oh I don`t know, a special meaning for it? Not only great wars and all were mentioned in the Bible, but also the little happenings in normal people`s life. If the Bible is supposed to be full of great and meaningul stories, why weren`t some other huge events that happened to people other than mentioned in the Bible, written there, too? Because those events didn`t mattered, as in, they all happened for a reason, yes, but that reason was not to be heard by millions and millions of people all over the world in the Word of God.
