Description
So, this is Zachary Quinto. If you haven't seen him on the show Heroes, go and watch it! Now! Because he is great in it as Sylar.
Oh and he isn't bad to look at either. I wasn't sure if the ref. pic I used was of Quinto in character as Sylar, but I'm guessing so because of the crazy psycho killer look in his eye. Oh and I might add that it is an especially sexy psycho killer look, too. 
I did this in about six hours give or take a couple... on Vellum Paper because I ran out of my good paper and just had to draw him... I used mainly an 8B pencil with some 4 & 2B mixed in, in the shadows and hair. Seriously, I'm never drawing a man with a stubbly beard or spiked hair ever ever ever ever again. I had to edit in Photoshop because my paper got stained somehow and I also went over the tips of his hair a bit, because I sucked at drawing it the first time.
Overview:
Time: 4-6 hours
Paper: Vellum 12.5 x 8.5 in.
Medium: 8, 4 &2B graphite pencils and some Photoshop editing (damn hair!)

oh, PS: Who else is excited about seeing him in the new Star Trek?!?!?! Seriously, I don't care if the movie sucks, I will go see it just to see him in it.

O.O THAT'S a DRAWING?
Okay, advanced critique. Ahem. Upon closer inspection, the hair at the top is a little too... long, I think, or maybe too spiky, and the eyebrow seems to be too long, but I don't know what you're working from, so I couldn't be sure, as he has pretty prominent eyebrows.
But still, you did a GREAT job.

I have to agree with the hair being a little too long on top. Although the ref. pic I used, his hair was longer at the top, but it could have also been the angle of the photo. Dunno. And his eyebrows are really...prominent. I felt like I hadn't made them dark or long enough, although at second glance, I might have gone overboard.
Hopefully with my next portrait of him, I will get these things truer to life.

but the eyebrows... I can't seem to get past the eyebrows. Did you know he's playing Spock in the new Star Trek movie? probably you did... So yeah, that just makes him cooler.

and yes, I did know about him in the new Star Trek. Even if it turns out to be a horrible movie...I will still watch it just to see ZQ.

oh. I didn't mean the way you drew them!! Sorry! I meant his eyebrows in general. I feel bad now. Yeah I want to watch it too even though I can't stand Star Trek (I am %100 Star Wars fan), but there are some good actors in it and JJ Abrams is awesome, so it might be good. Plus I've seen all of the other ones (my family are all star trek fans...)

hee hee hee... good job, although, just to be a bit constructively critical.... you angled out the jaw just a bit, just a tiny bit, too much, but it changes a lot in his face to me....
i didn't know who it was at first, and made the connection after i looked at the ref. pic
