Same,lost track as my comic shop stopped getting gd in for some reason,was a bummer really,lost track around the last issue or so of the oblivion story line and yeah read gd tangent.

that was one amazing arc
Gina has yet to fully settle down
and in the last issue we see Brianna as the High Druid of a bunch of Forests (= massive powerup in magic -> all stats into DAKKA)
that is settleing down while living her dream (finally she is own person doing something neighter of her sisters could do)

still she does have a steady boyfriend right now,and is a teacher and head of the explorer's society to boot and let's not forget brianna is gonna be married AND expecting a kid of her own on the way...damn another spinoff I need to read is tiff and CharlotteΒ

Plus helps that as he's been the same writer and artist,that there is consistency to the story and characters
really,it's amazing how Fred weaves it altogether. Another thing I miss are those GD books that sort of summarise issues and story arcs? Where Fred points out all the various details and what have you

and I won't include Main charas here
lets try
Chars:
1. D'bra, this Dragon-princess/-queen is an amazing mix of awesome and vunerable, seeing her grow and take charge of Jade
2. Ayane AKA Misstress, as above she has very defined hard and soft parts to her personality but she keeps growing as a person (not to forget: when she gets into the fight its instant awesome)
3. Barbara AKA Crush, so troubled so responsible so self-scarificeing, and her teasing of Xane is pure LOL
Arcs:
1. Dreadwing freeing Serpentus, so many plot-strings crossing and flowing here. Also Jade got finally real unity
2. the Break out from the retreat, particular the Troll-sage having so much fun doing it
3. the setup of the oblivion arc, so many moving parts and the Wererat got them right, evil but skilled
