Please excuse the crappiness...its a fairly old sketch xP But I felt inspired to finally finish it...what is it exactly? Well...its Growley's secret curse. The passage below pretty much sums up what his curse is...how it happened is for another day xP

"A lone lupe made his way through the tall grasses of what seemed like an endless field...he seemed to be forever running or perhaps he was forever in search of something greater? He had no friends, and his family had abandoned him long ago...Growley had become an outcast when he was just a pup, forsaken by all...he longed for his loneliness to end, but how could he ever trust anyone with his secret...his curse...how could he trust himself for that matter?

Growley’s sorrowful eyes wandered to the dark skies above, just as the clouds began to part. “No...how could I have been so stupid and not notice the- argh!!” his body had suddenly gone rigid as the full moon’s beams shed down upon his body. His frame seemed to twist and bulge as he took the form of a mutant, yet it seemed more than that. By the end of his transformation, no soul could been seen in his brilliantly lit eyes...no conscious seemed to exist within his heart.

The monstrous wolf-like creature took a large whiff of the air before letting out a piercing howl that echoed through the darkness. Like a bullet, he took off through the field, claws tearing at the earth as he ran, locked onto the smell of his prey. One thought was burned into his mind- to kill."

So now you know why Growley is so anti-social and maybe this explains his markings as well. Growley's was the first story I actually came up with and it was...ages ago x_X; Who knows, it may be time for a change...
