finally, here's a short thing based on an idea from Deezmo . I thought this would take a lot longer, although I completely lost track of how long it actually took. It has to be at least 5 or 6 hours maybe...? I shortened the time by doing really simple shading and lines, but I hope it still looks alright. It ended up a little messy, but I've been working on this forever >->Rusty and Copperwell are my gobs:Β neomi-trix.deviantart.com/art/β¦ But the redhead is a character of Deezmo who was volunteered for this comic for a beating :/ (I'm sorry Deezmo, I forgot what his name was?) I'm really sorry if I made him seem a little too helpless for his character..? He kind of needed to be like that >>

He's a mage so he is a bit of a coward, not knowing how to actually fight. He's not a very good mage haha.

That or Copperwell could have his estate guarded with runes. So anyone entering the area couldnt use magic? That way he's more secure too.
Cept for those who have certain items {if he has any mages/magic users working for him that is}.
I don't 100% know for certain how that kinda stuff goes about in-game but for fic it sounds plausible?Β

Sure, I think that the stuff I do with OCs is in a little different world from the in-game world... like how in that world when they die, they actually die, etc... ^^' I do like the idea that Copperwell might be a little afraid/cautious of magic because he's worried of it being more powerful than he's prepared for--or something

And yea I like to headcannon certain things to make it more "realistic" cause in-game obv there's so many things that couldn't really work. Like sizes of towns and travel time.

yeah, like the movie--that was like a "real world" application of the lore, pretty much. Honestly I've seen the movie more times than it even deserves... but what keeps pulling me back is the lovely Durotan. I can thank that movie for this whole goblin thing actually, because if it weren't for the movie coming out, I wouldn't have been reminded to try WoW again >->
