I figured out WLERA currency just for that last panel and Lucario statue, I am not obsessed with detail.

Trivia:
- said money hanging from Lucario is an old custom of giving offerings in Sinnoh. Not practiced anymore in a way shown, nowadays the strings of money are tied to wooden panel walls near shrines for the monks/maidens gather and use to maintain the site.
- trying to mix Japanese customs in WLERA's world-building, since I like the kanto-johto-hoenn-sinnoh map theory (or was it comfirmed?) very much but also try to make it not accuarate, partly because I am not knowledgeable enough to fully show the real customs and culture in a respectful manner and this is a fantasy world with its own history and natural forces.
That Torii gate? It's not a torii, since it's style does not mach any of the excisting ones.
- that sword/dragon picture on the statue is a reference to one of the Sinnoh myths. I'm sure you know which one (;
- Sinnoh is full of 'no catching/battle zones', where wild pokemon can just chill freely and thus are full of them to observe and hang out with. Breaking the rules of sacred lands is highly punished and all Sinnoh folk respect them. There is only one record of such action, where a pokemon was once caught on the sacred land, and just moments later the trainer who broke the holy pact was consumed by a legendary pokemon.
