Partial correction for [link] byCan't really help with the folds/clothes since I'm not familiar with the characters at all and what their clothes are supposed to look like.
And you'll notice that Manga isn't my usual style. All I did is try to give some ideas on how to adjust the pose to make it work.

Awesome redlines! I love the fist actually haha. To the original artist, i would have picked something other than profile, profile tends to be flattening and static.

I thought the fist would be funny, but it depends a lot on it will be fitting for the character / her behaviour and usual attitude.
Instead of angry she could also be pouting.
And personally I agree about the choice of profile, but in the description problems with perspective and foreshortening were mentioned so I guess that was the easiest way to achieve the scene.
Some times you settle for what you can do if you have a scene in your mind that jus needs to be drawn. I do it all the time, finding a compromise between skill level and vision is a art in itself.

You're right, i make those sacrifices all the time too. I guess i could have said the same thing about any drawing really xD "NEEDS MORE DRAMATIC ANGLE.. MORE MOREEE!"
