The automa looked off into the expanse of the desert. HiVE Co. had assigned her to explore the deserts, but how much? They wanted to know how much life still existed on Earth after the war. And off she went.

During her travel, she saw a man on the horizon. Sun beaten, slow, this man looked hurt, or tired.

Then suddenly, their was another. She saw the first one take something off his back, and the other approached and embraced the first. The two then walked off into the distance.

She followed close behind. But while walking behind them, something caught her eye. A bunker door. Sitting in the middle of the sand.

She went over to the door, cautiously. As she was going, she saw a massive expanse of green fields that survived the war. She would report this back later.

Upon entering the bunker, she was met with cold. Her servos began to freeze, but something deep inside was calling. She continued in.

At the end of the main hall was a glass tube, glowing blue from the chemicals inside. There was a figure inside. A child.

She approached the child, slowly. She saw it wriggle inside the tube. Carefully she opened it and took the child.

Memories of her past life came flooding back. Emperor John Regulus, Raptor Seven her mate, the war. The child began to weep, and Raptor Six took the infant and held it close.

"It's okay, Pei. You're safe."
