Description WELL FINALLY. I managed to finish and upload this already. The only thing which kept me from doing it sooner is that I wanted to include that skirt thing around the hips in it too, but I decided against it, cause I can't figure it out yet.

I decided to start with the bottom part, because I like bottoms. ;D
...
Justkidding, omg. >_>
Ignore that, I don't know how to make jokes.

Alas, Part II and Part III will come up soon, sooner than this one, I hope.
I also hope it's not too hard to follow, I confused myself at some point. Good luck!

It's true that the uniforms can be difficult, but hey, they're not impossible! With a bit of attention and work, we can get there. Good luck and lots of fun!

Go ahead! I'm sure you'll do a great job, and it's much cheaper than buying them.

I bet it is! X3 I just need to find some white pants that actually fit, find a place to sell the right fabric, and buckles, then get my mom to help me with the sewing because sewing machines scare me sometimes... We always have fabric and all kinds of things laying around the house, but when I want to make something awesome we have nothing I need!

neptunyan In reply to tolove-another [2014-08-10 14:37:48 +0000 UTC]

Ah XD
It's alright tho! I sewed them by hand and they still look alright. You don't need a sewing machine for this one.
Also, you can take white jeans and take their pockets off, so they'll look like simple white pants ( the ones I'm wearing are actually white jeans, but I took the pockets and trinkets off ).

It won't be that expensive, so tell your mom about it, you'll be fine.

You think so? Thank you! I was really nervous making it, I thought it would be confusing, since I confused myself for a while, haha. xD
But I'm really happy it's helpful, it's such a relief! I'm hoping it'll be useful for people, because making these yourself is considerably cheaper than buying them.

It is. I think it'd fit better under Resources & Stock Images > Tutorials category, though, this way it'll be easier to find later (:

Whoa.. this is great! This is gonna be really helpful for me when I get the the harness part of my cosplay! Thanks so much!

Though a little piece of advice for the public, don't forget the belt that will actually go through the belt loops on your pants! You'll need a dark leather belt that's about the same colour as your straps, and not a little thin one either. A normal one like so: basader.com/shop/564-thickbox_…

(sorry for intruding with my advice *quickly scampers away*)

Hello,

First of all, I'm happy you find it helpful, that's the purpose of it, heh.

However, the belt you're talking about is part of another tutorial I will plan to make, this is barely 'Part 1', as stated in the title itself. I do appreciate advice, but I don't think it has a real purpose in this case, since the tutorial and costume are incomplete. I apologize if it sounds offensive, but I'm looking at it from a logical point of view.

The comment is appreciated though. Good luck with your costume!
