I'm so tempted to make BDSM jokes, you have no idea.Alas, I'm finally done with the second part of the tutorial and I proudly admit that I still have no idea how to make that skirt thing - and yet I want to cosplay this weekend, so I'll need to brainstorm and make it by Sunday. Wish me luck.
I apologize if this tutorial is hard to follow and blurry - to be honest, I'm not entirely happy with it. I've been going through a bit of a stressful period over here, so I may not be as good as explaining / making tutorials. If there's any part you don't get though, I'll happily try to explain. But mainly - it's easier to make it if you write numbers / letters on the straps to keep track of them. So don't worry, no matter how hard it seems to make it, you guys can do it. If I can, so can you - I'm just an amateur, remember?

Attack on Titan is my first cosplay that I made on my own, and I had no idea how to do the harness at all. I have to make two harnesses (one for myself and one for my sister) so I needed something that would work for me. Right now, I only have my chest done, but I really like this tutorial. It was easy to follow. Mine doesn't look as good as yours, but I'm happy with it.

I was wondering exactly how much of the dark brown synyhetic leather I will need. As in for all of the different straps in all the tutorials. And im going shopping tomorrow so I need to know fast.. sorry for the inconvenience. And thank you in advance! ovo

I got 2 m, and I still have some leftovers. You can buy 2 m too, just in case something goes wrong and you'll need back-up fabric. And you can use the leftovers for other costumes.

They had them at the fabric store here, they have a lot of clothing accesories. You can ask at fabric stores, or you can ask a local seamstress / tailor. If not, see if you can order them online.

Great idea. I'm new to sewing and I was wondering what size needle you use. For a sewing machine or hand sewing.

I sew by hand right now, because I can't use a sewing machine, I haven't learned yet - as for needle size... I can't really tell, it was pretty slim, I suppose? I'm not a professional seamstress, so I don't know sizes, technical terms, etc. I'm sorry for not being of much help.

It's ok. I probably won't worry about sewing and just use fabric glue. It won't look as good but I need to finish it pretty soon. I've already made the blades and 3DMG.

Ah, I got it from a fabric shop here in my town. I'm not sure if it's called 'synthetic leather' in English ( in Romanian it's called ' imitatie de piele ' ), but if you google it, that's what it shows. It's also called 'artificial leather', which is basically the same thing. Ask about it in fabric shops, they should have it, I know we have it over here in Romania. If not, see if you can buy it from another town and have it shipped to you. Good luck!
