Woo man im sorry this was delayed guys, life has kinda been kicking my butt lately. But here it is, page 16! Otherwise known as the page of sans connecting dots and humor deflection XD;
Also, big shout out to the people who kept me company during the livestream that I was working on this page! It was a lot of fun! Depending on the page's content (anything too important or big I'll probably wait until its uploaded so it doesn't spoil), I may end up doing that more so be on the lookout :3 This is also the first page that was done exclusively in photoshop! all the sketches of previous pages have been drawn by hand, but I took a chance here and did it all digitally. It turned out better than expected I think.

Man, I love this, it's great, I love how long the pages are, makes the updates even more worthwhile and even more the wait. Anyways, I hope u keep doing these long pages, longer chapters, etc., and that this new favorite comic lasts a good long while, plus I love the art style and color, anyways take ur time, these long (multiple pages in one) pages, with layers, etc. must take awhile, so take ur time. Anyways, absolutely love ur work, I just started binge reading it from the beginning so that is probably why u are seeing so many comments from me so quickly, because I just started this comic, and I'm absolutely enthralled.

I am absolutely in love with your comic! I've always had a similar head canon that what we do in Undertale (And any game really) has far more consequences than we think. To finally stumble across an AU exploring this is amazing!! Is there an ask blog or anything?? I have like so many questions I want to ask!! I'm enthralled by this idea!!

I've been wondering for a while now, it's probably entering the spoiler-zone (because you don't really sound like the kind to trope with the "A Wizard Did It" thing too much) but anyway
How exactly did Frisk get so expressive? By that I mean, not only do they imitate the Player's emotions, they also make hand moves (which I kinda hope the Player themself is not doing behind that screen), jerk away from Sans's grip, grab Sans, and now kneel and roll up on the ground? There has to be something beyond just the game or that Player really did something (it seems like the pre-WindowMode Frisk really was the emotionless/robot type after all), but doing things like that on accident?
Also, just because I'm not completely sure-- an actually not that spoilery question I hope is: what exactly does the Player see? Is it some first-person POV, like they literally see from Frisk's eyes (meaning that right now they don't see a thing haha)? Do they still see the usual pixel-y game and the only change was supposed to be the Input dialogue box, and some new "impossible" sprites just started appearing as the characters came off-script? Do they see exactly what the comic shows us and the camera just goes haywire?
It's just that since we only see the "Real" version from Sans's perspective, it makes it hard to truly understand what exactly the Player sees ._.

The first one will come into play later but I will say beyond the reasoning behind it, there are nuances to the stuff. There IS an explanation, but the comic also wouldn't be as fun if it was very robotic.
As for perspective, the player is still seeing the game as it is "normally" (8 bit, 2D) just with likely different dialogue, different expressions/"sprites", and different surroundings, if they pertain.
Imagine it like if the original game is only giving you a snapshot of this universe and the people in it. What's happening in this comic is opening up the 'field of view' so to speak of possibilities-- but it's still being filtered through the 8-bit computer game screen.

I think it makes sense, yes ^^ I myself am working on a similar project (a fanfiction though), so I did do my own research on the question beforehand -- hence my curiosity about what sort of explanation and metaphysics/logic you came up with
So welp, I've been trying to imagine how the Player would see all of this on the screen, that sure would sound crazy-- especially to someone who allegedly understands at least the basics of the game’s mechanics and knows how to cheat xD
Anyways, I'm hooked and looking forward to seeing what you have in mind o3o

Since she wasn't talking for a moment there I thought she was about to says something in the lines of: "Oh sorry, I had to go to the bathroom lile ASAP and I left the computer and the game on. What were you saying?" xD

Whoa. Sans is pretty... calm. I mean, he's calm for most of the time, but I've seen him in many comics to be quite short tempered when it comes to all the timey-wimey murder-wobbly stuff. I like how you write him here. And all those panels seem like a lot of work. Keep it up!

Well, remember: the player worded it as "hurt" to him, no details-- he doesn't remember other timelines here, and he doesnt just outwardly attack you when he first meets you after a reset. He's definitely concerned/startled in the last page and not sugar coating what you do tell him, ('while that doesnt change what you did to us'), but the fact the player seems remorseful over memories he doesn't have and overall violence here seems more effort than its worth and pointless-- maybe the opportunity of an investigation here is worth more than just another potential jump back in time ^^ that was my rationale for his reaction, anyway
