Description
This was a doodle at first, but I figured that some backstory for Gajeel was to like...made .-.
so yeah...please note that this was a quick write and was just thrown together C: also, Run if I need to change anything such as ages or anything please tell me

A large kit huffed and plopped down on the dusty ground. He glared at the group of kits his age by their parents. His ears flattened and he turned away with a snort. Jealousy raged through him. He refused to watch anymore of their affections.

The tom was new to the empire. While he wasn't newly born, not in the least, but he was found and brought to the empire. He didn't have any family that the others knew of and refused to talk to anybody about it. When asked his only "reply" was an angry hiss or him storming off.

On the other side of the camp a she-cat sat watching him. An amused smile crossed her face as she watched the darkly colored kitten. Despite all her attempts to get him to open up he still refused. The she-cat sighed in defeat as she thought about it. They didn't even know his name...Taking a deep breath she got up determinedly and padded over.

"Kit." she called when she got close, "Would you like to talk to me now?" she asked softly.

"Humph." came the snort.

"I'm Lilly."

He glowered at her and looked away.

"I don't care..."

Lilly stared in shock as she heard him speak, The she-cat blinked before she moved forward quickly moving to cuddle him.

"What's your name? Why won't you tell me?" she asked gently.

".....Gajeel...."

Lilly smiled as she made out his words.

"Well, Gajeel, welcome to the Red Empire."
