Description
One of the popular fanon characters that got a brief mention in the books, but got popular in Harry Potter fanfiction, Daphne Greengrass is one of my favorite characters, even if she only appeared in one book, and has a possible appearance in the Order of the Pheonix movie(unnamed background Slytherin girl you see above played by Chloe Rich). In fandom, she is portrayed as a Slytherin Ice Queen and pureblood, in canon she is Astroia Greengrass's older sister(Astoria in canon married Draco Malfoy). In fanfiction, she is a popular pairing choice with the Harry/Daphne pairing.There are so many reasons to love this character.

Harry/Daphne is probably my favorite shipping involving Harry with a Slytherin. A much better match for him instead of the fangirl. Of course a recent canonical update regarding the Greengrass family in Cursed Child would no doubt add some drama for the two.
