Here's a quick, humorous picture for an idea I came with a while ago, where Ken expresses his love and appreciation for the design of Legendary's Godzilla.
Back when Godzilla (2014) first came out, Japanese audiences criticized Legendary Goji for being "Too fat." Frankly, I find that to be the most irrelevant criticism about the film. So yeah. I absolutely LOVE this Godzilla design to pieces! The King of Kaiju has never looked sexier.
But I'm also hyped to see Toho's new Godzilla in action in Godzilla: Resurgence later this year. ^^

True. But I highly doubt Toho is willing to risk the chance of a reboot of their biggest cash cow be an utter disappointment. Whenever they reboot Godzilla, the first film of each era is typically the best one, since Toho tends to put most of their effort and resources into that one to get the series rolling. On top of that, they have the creator of Neon Genesis Evangelion co-directing the film, as well. Clearly, they're attempting to get the best out of this film.
