Thought I'd let you know how I'm doing in college considering I can't post much at the moment. So this is a portrait for my final project. It isn't the whole thing itself, the final outcome will be a 3D installation, that of an explosion. I've yet to make the wall and window, but all's going well so far!Anyways, also practicing realism, and studied a bit on the human skull.
This character isn't anyone in real life (that I know of), so I've decided to make him my OC, and I'm calling him Prince because he reminds me of the Prince of Persia |D
He's meant to look intimidating/aggressive.
Took about 10 hours in Photoshop. Enjoy! ^w^

When i took a second view upon it , i noticed the lips are a little weird. Like, they are cylindrical sacks of fluid, especially the bottom lip, and too shiny. But hey, it's only my opinion. This piece really looks nice and the beard is gorgeous. ( not as gorgeous as mine ofc)

Ahh thank you! This was an old piece I did last year, so there's quite a bit I've learnt since then. At the time it was loosely based around Prince of Persia, but it's over contrasted, and as you say there's a lot to be desired with quite a few of the features. But all in all, this was amazing at the time when I did it (at least to me anyways), it was already a big step up from the previous ones I'd done.
