Sorry I haven't been uploading much! Been so busy with so many things; part time job, internship, working on comics etc. So here's something I did a few days ago, Adeodatus got upgraded armour!Check out my other stuff!

I can see you've been very busy!
Something that I can never get my finger on is how even your sketches feel very finished. Like even just the legs alone in just a few lines you can make it look as appealing as a final rendering. I know this might be a broad question but, do you ever have problems of your drawings looking "unfinished"? Especially ballpoint, I'm super impressed with how crisp the lines are! Mine always come out fuzzy and I don't know why.

98% of my sketches are always unfinished lmao the more detail I put into them the more static they become so I tend to leave them quite fluid and gestural. And idk it's just many years of traditional sketching along with my other skills and knowledge of the fundamentals that makes it look good, anatomy plays a big part and coupled with gesture it looks quite finished. The lineweights help give it more depth too. And I often wipe my ballpoint every 20 seconds or so to stop blotching of the ink, in turn I get black fingers xD

Sounds a lot like my sketchbooks. 
And with ballpoint I always forget to clean it and I end up getting blotches. I always get too engrossed in the process to remember lol.

It's a mix of knowledge, practice, and a lot of cognitive problem solving and studying. My line weight has always been good, but it's one slice of a whole cake that makes an image - light, value, perspective, anatomy - these are all important to making an image pop and lineweight just boosts that. I keep in mind silhouette though, and gesture is pretty important. Symbols I don't have a problem with anymore because I practised 3d drawing from statues and models and photos etc. so I have that added sense of realism in my style

by the way, how is Adeodatus personality? I'm a little bit curious, 0_0 is he like a nice friendly guy? or maybe too serious or shy? does he speaks a lot or is not very talkative? Β Β Β

Adeodatus is very much a soldier type, he follows the demands of the Goddess and only the Goddess. He's quiet, but stoic and he generally ignores anything that confronts him unless it poses a danger. He very much dislikes taking orders from a lower tiered angel but due to the history of the seraphim they were taken down a rung on the hierarchy ladder although they are still the most powerful and host 3 sets of wings and a tail in comparison to the cherubim (Goddess) who only owns two pairs and a tail. Incredibly powerful, he has much respect for other seraphim although he doesn't tend to have much of his own opinion due to the life that he leads. He lacks a lot of expression, but shows an inkling of compassion for those smaller and less defended beings, he often won't fight unless it's required as he believes creating chaos isn't in his destiny!

Yeah it is really sad, he greatly dislikes the life he leads and he'd probably go against them if not for his overwhelming sense of loyalty to their cause :/
He's homesick, he's a god of the earth but he's chained up in the sky, far from it and he's weak because of it. He hasn't used his powers in centuries so it's lead to him to slowly start turning to stone ;0;Β
Risen left the angels many moons ago, back when he made the mistake of leading the angels into war with the humans (which lead to their almost extinction) so he went to live a solitary life on earth in his giant forest. He tries to make up for the mistakes of the past by helping out a nearby small population of humans - giving them weather to water their crops and aiding in defending their village from attacks.Β
They're the two last surviving seraphim and neither are at their peak
