Nestly: It has been a while, hasn't it old buddy?Sparkalar: Hey, don't call me old! I've still got plenty of pep left!
Nestly: That's because you're immortal..
Sparkalar: Oh right.
Nestly: So. I'm sure those shy watchers of mine out there have been craving something like this. My old character Sparkalar, in my old style. (improved, of course)
It doesn't matter how much time goes by, people still remember me most for my darn Neopet characters. So I decided to pay a little tribute and draw as many of my old neos as I could fish out. I miss them. ;~;
So, enjoy! Sparkalar for some reason looks like he's about to shell out a kamayamaya for some reason here.

Ahhhhh! I remember this eventful little guy! Used to read your Neo comics when I was 10 or so...your illustrations also got me drawing and writing little stories. Really loved the stuff you put on your pet pages. He's very snazzy here tho <3

If you want a nostalgia wave, I actually revamped Sparkalar into a new character named Nymble and still do funny comics and stuff:
There's elements of Ahrohra in there as well. XD

But man, has neo /really/ gone downhill.

It's really nice to see how you can imitate yer old style and still imrpove it at the same time.
I mean, when I change styles, I change styles. And it' really hard to revamp the old drawings I did without changing it completely.
But I guess that's why yer awesome! 8D Yer artistic talent continues to grow without losing any ability to draw in other styles along the way. c:
Not to mention, it's just nice to see these old characters every once in a while. <:3c (even though I don't think anyone could ever forget Sparkalar xD)
And as for the portrait itself, I can say I really like how you drew his feets. 8D I'uno whai really. Must be the shape of 'em. Not to mention you've always been able to cel-shade amazingly. C:
It's nice to see revamps like this. c:> It not only reminds me of the old Nestly I came to admire, but it makes me appreciate just how talented and amazing you've come to be. :3

Aaaah~ He was the reason I started designing my neopets as characters and what helped me start drawing and writing. I even remember reporting a NT comic called "Sparkalara and Friends" for copying your comics x'D

Really, so much nostalgia and he's not even my character! xD I can't tell you how inspired by their story(and all of your other neopets too <333 I loved the kacheek) I was when I was little. At like nine, I was so into your story and it was the first time I'd heard of having characters too. x) Gahh, I love him! ^^
But yeah, you were definitely like my biggest inspiration at that age. xD (I remember coming home straight to neopets to work on my own plots, oh myy)

I miss my neopets. Neopets decided to overhaul, or something, and up and deleted my account without giving me a say as why.
But I do miss Sparkalar. ;x; I absolutely loved your neopet designs.

Nestly: Ah jeeze... you know, it's too easy to lose your precious account on Neopets and too hard to get back. They just don't care about users anymore. Sucks. 8( That's why it's not worth playing anymore.

yeah, I think I've spent near over 400$ on the merchendise and on the actual site with Premium account and the actual neocash stuff. I sent them all my info and asked for a reason why I was frozen, all they sent back was "I'm sorry, you don't have a validated e-mail, we can't unfreeze your account." e____e TO. THE. MAX.

Oh goodness, this is certainly pleasent to see. Sparkalar and the rest of your characters got me into roleplaying and drawing. It's weird to think how different my life would have been if I never encountered his page. xD
