Description
EDIT! New and improved bases to use!You may use these files to practice coloring your Wyngro!
Download the PSD. file and open it in Photoshop or Paint Tool SAI.
Use the folders to easily find the Wyngro you're going to make.
Layers are locked so you don't have to worry about going outside the lines!
Each folder has contained in it, ALL COLOR PLACEMENTS so you don't even have to draw them! (Make sure to only use 5!)
This PDF. is to be used as a means to practice only. Please be aware of the rules below:
Nothing created from this base can be counted towards Wyngro upgrades.
You may not use this to profit in any way.
You CAN use this base in your reference sheet, as long as you ALSO have a full body colored drawing you drew yourself as well!
You CAN use this base in your approval image along with a traditional drawing! (If you can't figure it out, we can add one for you!)

I'm having a bit of trouble downloading it, so is it okay if I screenshot and then trace over it to make the ref sheet?

I would actually encourage you to wait a bit, as this ref is very outdated and is getting a revamp soon ^^

and what if i can't get colors exact with a traditional drawing? Would a black and white drawing be acceptable if the lines were smooth and complete?

I'm ready to join this community. I already watch the Wyngro/Wyngling group, so can I make a reference sheet for my own Wyngling now?

Uh.
I don't have either of the programs here, and I need permission from my parents to get other downloadable, free programs. I doubt they'll let me download anything so what should I do?

I installed the file on SAI and it imported as layer sets. I have no clue how to open the layer set and color the base.

Just click each layer folder and it should open up all the layers for the base you want!

I love this species as well, if you don't mind me asking; why are the rules so strict? ;;
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Nestly In reply to kinq-jeremy [2017-02-24 00:50:50 +0000 UTC]
I'm glad you do!
And well, the reason the rules are so strict is because they are a free evolving species where the rewards are all in drawing and being able to upgrade them in all sorts of different ways! The rules are there to keep it fair for all members. So if a member broke the rules on anatomy, (for instance, made the neck too long) this would devalue the rare subspecies that has a long neck, and thus, devalue those members who own one and paid a lot of money for them.
Same goes for upgrades. If you give your Wyngro an upgrade without earning it truly, it's not fair to those that did earn it.
Now if you're talking about the process of creating a Wyngling, it's because the species uses every other aspect to "evolve", and so it's very important that it's drawn very simple to start off with! ^^
I hope that makes sense!

We can use this to create or Wyngro, but we have to have a traditional drawing included?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Nestly In reply to OliveTheDingo [2016-12-18 20:27:12 +0000 UTC]
You simply have to draw it yourself as well, that's all. You can be traditional or digital, but we prefer digital as it's easier to edit. Once your approved, you can do digital or traditional to your liking!
