So I finished reading the Wheel of Time books something like a month ago and I wanted to do some fanart which I've been meaning to do a long time. Never quite got to it until now.I actually finished this lineart some time ago but got to scan only just now. I lost track of how long it took since I did it every now and then in short sessions.
If someone hasn't read the books, than this contains very little spoilers since this is only a compilation of the major characters in the first book in the series, Eye of the World. Three main characters in the middle, villains on the top and bottom, and other characters on the sides. For those who have read the books, I dare to try and recognise them all, just to see if I got even close to making them distinguishable.
Done with pencil and ink on crappy copier paper(A4 size). Colors will be coming up in the distant future.

Glad you think that way. It is a kind of an epic series.
I've personally started disliking this piece more and more every day so I'll probably re-do it someday.

Well I've begun to colour this as a personal project. I was going to show you the result when I was finished to get permission to submit it as a deviant but I might as well ask you now.
When it comes to WoT I think this is definitely the kind of art style to go with. You should rerally be proud of this

okay lemme try. i have read all 11 books and the prequel, i think i can get this.
At the Very top it is Ba'alzmon
Then going down the left side it is: Aginor, Thom, Elyas, Lan, Moiraine, And Trollocs.
Directly underneath Ba'alzmon are Rand in the center then Perrin on his left and Mat on his right.
Then to Ba'alzmon's right there is: Balthamel, Loial, Elayne, Min, Nynaeve, and Egwene, with More Trollocs underneath. And a Fade in the center of them...
I don't think I spelled everything right, but did i get the characters right?
PS Mat and Egwene and Moiraine and Lan are my faves out of this pic GOOD JOB!

hehe *flexes* Yeah, Min and Elayne had minor rolls in that book, but played MUCH greater rolls later on.. Might add a hint of eyelashes so its easier to tell she's female, since the chest isn't visible. If I rememer correctly, she'd been described as, at worst, a very pretty boy. VERY pretty. That it was difficult to mistake her as anything but a girl, despite the haircut and clothes.

I love it. I love Loial he is my favorite character in all of fantasy and you did a good job with him. Everyone I see either does a cute giant hobbit or a hairy elf monster, but you have a nice balnce with his innocence and burlyness. I think I know who each of the girls are. Elayne and Egwene were my last to figure out who they were. The one I am a little puzzled, the bearded guy on the far left, is that Elyas the wolfbrother? He isnt a a real main character but you said it was mostly from Eye of the world.

Yes, it is Elyas the Wolfbrother. I put him there simply because I like the character so much even though he plays a rather small part in the books.

Yes, it was good and long series of fantasy books. You wouldn't probably like them though. Only the final book remaining to be read, but now I have to wait for it to get published since the writer went up and died of a weird blood disease, before he finished it. Now some other bloke is going to write it based on the notes the original writer left behind.

I bet I wouldn't like them as you said. I still haven't even bothered to read the lord of rings, so there's my interest to these kind of fireball-joke-cracking-wizard-nerd books.
