Iblis: RAWR FLAMES OF DISASTER!Chaos: Dude, you're on my turf!
Silver: My life sucks.
Seriously, if Iblis came in and started tearing up the world, I imagine that Chaos would take offense. Then the two of them would level the planet much more effectively than just Iblis could. No wonder Silver wanted to do one (or both) of them in so badly.
....yes, the fanfic-worm won't stop gnawing me.
Thanks to everyone for their critiques and comments. It's great to have a chance to do a pic this much fun.

That said, I don't think Iblis stands a chance.Β Even at his strongest form, Regular-Silver could still beat him..and didn't even seem to work that hard at it.

Of course Iblis would lose. Water types have the advantage over Fire types.

I'm gonna be honest...I think Chaos could take Iblis even if he/it was Grass Type.Β Iblis is...not very impressive on his/its own.Β Solaris blows Chaos out of the proverbial water, but Iblis just never struck me as very imposing aside from the fact that it keeps respawning.

But the respawning is what makes Iblis such a threat. He can never truly be defeated... Did you pay attention at all to Silver's story??

It always struck me as "It respawns, but you can beat it very quickly."Β To be honest, the only reason I think Iblis even caused the destruction that it did is that it got an automatic explosion when it escaped Elise and everyone who could have stopped it at the time died in said explosion.Β If ANYONE was around when Iblis first showed up, I could see them all taking shifts and just beating it down.Β They'd have to train descendants and successors to carry on when they're too old, but I imagine they'd all still have enough free time to live a life outside of Iblis.Β Hell, if Chaos was on the case, I imagine it could just make a forest around Iblis (assuming this is Grass Chaos) and just shoot it every time it wakes up...and still have time to live a life outside of Iblis.

Well not all of them are 'God of Destruction' as Chaos is the only one to be given the title 'Chaos the God of Destruction'.
But I do see the pattern, and I don't really mind, they make for epic bosses, I wonder if Chaos could appear in Project Sonic 2017...

Iblis was the apocalypse
Mephelis's goal was too destroy everything
Solaris wanted to destroy all of time
and Dark Gaia's purpose was to cleanse the earth by destroying it so it could be recreated

True, but Iblis and Mephiles are just 'Immortal', I don't think they can be considered Gods and Solaris they're true form.
And Dark Gaia isn't called a god, his bio is "It is aΒ primordial hyper energy organism from the dawn of time and the incarnation of darkness, night and destruction. Since its birth, Dark Gaia has been in an eternal conflict with Light Gaia, where they maintain a cycle of destruction and rebirth of the planet", its never stated that hes a God.
But I CAN see what your getting at here.

Looks to me like Chaos has the upper hand currently here. If he can keep Iblis in the sea long enough he might cool and solidify like lava does. Then chaos can simply leave him there or maybe blow him to pieces with that neat laser beam thingie of his.

Funnily enough I had a story idea similar to this pretty recently. Also, Chaos is a water god, Iblis is fire, and Gaia is earth.. I wonder if Mobius has an air god hanging around anywhere - we'd have a perfect set of four then.

If there's an air god somewhere, you know Robotnik will dig it up! I figure the battle between Chaos and Iblis would be a draw. The ocean can't destroy the land, merely cover it, and the land can't destroy the ocean, because of the water cycle. But they could pretty effectively destroy all life on the planet. :-p
