Description
While I was researching atmosphere tutorials on my last pic, I happened across some nice Photoshop tutorials for starfields and planets. I couldn't leave them alone, and this pic resulted. I have a lot to learn about galactic-type pics, but it sure was fun.Tutorial on starfields: [link]
Tutorial on planets: [link]
Edit: I rearranged the big stars so there's actually more of a focal point. The other version was, "Hey, let's watch NR go crazy with Lens Flare!" Next time I do one of these, I'm gonna do one of those gas nebula things with all the nifty shapes.

Sweet... you found the same tutorials that I did just a few days ago. If you check out my stuff.."Distant Planet" was creating by combining the two tutorials just like you did. I kept the dead planet look, nice to see someone do a live green planet version. I plan to expand on this and creating some cool effects of Planets, moons and maybe some celestial collisions!? Cheers!

Ah, space. Its vastness and mystery intruiges us all.
Would be nice to know a little more about it, I think. Wonderful picture! The colors are beautiful. They're all so cool and dark. Great effect! Excellent job with those stars. They look very glittery. XD

Beuatiful. Of course, if it is rather generic then I can't give too much props for originality, but is awe inspiring none the less.
