This is gorgeous. It's so nice to see some Shadow and Maria artwork. It's been a while since I was part of the Sonic fandom. Even though I've left I still adore the games and Shadow was always my fav. His storyline with Maria was so heartfelt and tragic. You really captured the emotion here. It's nice to see Shadow happy every once and a while. Glad to know Maria's still with him even in death.

....this is so awesome and it really touched my Heart..... I cant describe it, this is one of this Pictures where you only say: awww its beautiful. And yeah, I love Pictures where you can see the "soft" side of Shadow, this shows that he isnt that overcooled Hedgehog all the Time.

The leaves didn't take long at all. In Corel Painter, there's this thing called the Impressionist Brush, and it does the most fabulous leaves. I abuse it all the time.

This is very pretty... I like the coloring of Maria especially. Only thing I might suggest would be to make her just a little more transparent. Although with the lack of detail in the background that may not work out so well, so...
