Description
What started out as practice on the female anatomy ended up being a pin-up of Azula in her undies.
Well, just like the disclaimer says up there, I'm getting slightly annoyed by people saying the words "bat-shit" or "ape-shit" when talking about Azula. We know, we know, she went crazy. So, it's time for Dr. Turtleduck to step in and give her a life-lesson on how to become sane.
Azula: "Careful - you wouldn't want to fall...like I did."

"Hmmmm...I wonder how you'd taste like...extra crispy..." Lolz! Seriously, I really love this!!! I agree. Azula has her finer points. she's just ruthless but she's not necessarily cruel in a sadistic way. She's cruel only when it's necessary to serve her purpose. I think that's what makes her even more dangerous than her father because she's more efficient and cunning in the sense she doesn't do anything unless there is an end result that she expects.
I really don't buy that bit that Mai and Ty Lee were only loyal to her because they were afraid of her. There is nothing in the show that suggests that. In fact they have everything to thank to Azula for. She's the one who took out Mai's boredom and gave attention to Ty Lee that she craved.
I will hand it to Bryke that they had a great concept but they need to admit to themselves that they aren't as good story writers as they want to be. That's what you hire professionals for. There is nothing wrong in admitting you need help in some aspects in the production.

There's a very specific reason I absolutely love this pic. I hesitate to bring it up since I don't want to seem like I'm spamming, but I feel the need to explain why this picture is so touching to me.
I'm working on an Azula-centric fic. There's a specific flashback scene wherein I show Ozai forcing Azula to kill an injured turtleduck with her firebending (as part of one of his twisted "lessons" when she's only 5 years old).
So, for me, this picture of Azula helping a little turtleduck as part of her healing/redemption is especially poignant.

Absolutely precious. Seeing 'Zula in deep contemplation with a little critter taps that well-hidden vulnerable part of her character that only ever flickered momentarily on the screen in the show. If she was to be redeemed, I see this scene being an important part of it. Bravo.
