This is my character for

Ugh... legs. I know, they're off, but for now, I'm just happy to have him up and posted.

Character Name: Slade

Alt. Mode: Oshkosh LVSR Truck

Gender: Mech

Relative Age: (Born before the war) 52

Height: 46 ft

Current Occupation: Construction Worker

Current Residency: The caretaker's house of a small apartment complex he helped build a while back

Bondmate (if any): None

Children (if any): None

Other family (optional): Wife (deceased-died before bonded)

Alliance during the War: Autobot

Backstory:
Before the war, Slade spent his younglinghood running with the underground gangs and acting as the brawn of the group. He later left and took up an entirely different lifestyle, devoting his time to Circuit-Su and the art of Metallikato.

Years later he left the dojo and traveled some more, and taking up many different jobs and life-styles. It was around this time that the war broke out in full swing. While he found the Autobot ideals to be a bit too optimistic, he saw the devastation wreaked by the Decepticons and decided to aid the weaker faction.

For millenia, Slade then spent his time as a captain of his own team, displaying an uncharacteristic instinct for tactical warfare--though, planning aside, that's not to say Slade doesn't enjoy jumping right into the thick of things. If there was one thing to be said about his leadership, Slade never believed the captain was more important than his team. He outright refused to be wait behind his troops and was often found standing with them when the proverbial shit hit the fan.

While he admits to missing the war, overall, Slade is glad peace has settled over Cybertron.

Description/quirks/anything else we should know:

- Slade has always had a soft spot for the younger generation. He enjoys looking after them, using his old age and experience to teach/bore them. However, he outright refuses to coddle them. “You can’t get the shine without a bit 'a spit in the polish…… Or somethin’ like that…”

- After work, he can sometimes be found on the front porch of his home, kicking back a cube of high grade and listening to swing. You'll never get him to admit to it, though.

- Weighing in at 24 tons, Slade can lift, carry, and toss anything he can lift.

- Slade can lift twice his body weight.

- Slade once considered joining the Decepticon ranks, however, after seeing the devastation wrought by the faction on an city with no defense of its own, he decided to aid the Autobots and protect those not strong enough to defend themselves.

- Refuses to admit his real age. Ever.

- He enjoys scaring the shit out of/confusing the young folk.

- Although not always intentional, Slade is old set in his ways and believes most femmes need protecting.
