Would you get the same effect by using the copic colorless marker? Or is it better just using the liquid?
And thanks for sharing, would you consider doing a tutorial on shading different types of clothing? Like coloring the folds correctly and such XD

your tutorial inspired me to try this effect out. now I have some ethanol at 90% strength. o.O now I'm researching the alcoholic strength of copic markers, no result so far.
So I wonder, do you dilute, make the ethanol you have thinner? or do you take it pure?
Thanks in advance.

well, after a long digging in the interwebs I found some unspecific import-papers of copic various ink, which state, that the ethanol strength varies between 62-80%. xD
thanks for your patience, and everybody else who wondered about this: you are welcome!

I was wondering if that was marker or watercolor! I thought you used watercolor and salt at first. Awesome!!! Thanks!

It's very unpredictable, but looks pretty sweet. And if you wait about five minutes when you put the salt down, then drag it with your finger, it gives you some fun effects to play with.

I've always just used a q-tip .3. dipped it in the rubbing alcohol then splattered it like splatter-paint. This looks like a god way, though *v * I'm gonna give it a try.
