^^ Thank you so much! It's funny though, because I haven't played AoD yet. I only liked Kurtis when I saw him and started reading his character bio (because I've been out of the TR world for well over a decade Last one I played was TR3, and I never finished it. OTL) He just seemed like a natural fit for Lara.

You haven't played AoD and you already like Kurtis?! Well, you're gonna LOVE him after completing the game! He's quite a charming badass...
Over a decade without TR? Hehh, I went through that too, but it didn't last that long for me. I played the first four games but got to get my hands on the Chronicles only some time after finishing AoD. And when TR was taken over and changed so drastically by Crystal Dynamics I planned to never even try out the next gen games. However, when Anniversary came out I had to play it just to see how much of TR1 I would recognize... I liked it, in a nutshell . And TRU was nice too because Lara seemed to have become milder, or more human if you will. But Legend still sucked... ROYALLY... for me.

I know, I know... I'm how many years behind the TR times? 13? I'm currently trying to play Anniversary, which is the game that rekindled my interest in TR because I didn't know that they were still making the games. I don't entirely care for the next-gen graphics--Core/Eidos is so much better and more familiar to me (polygons ftw)--but CD did a fair job of bringing more realism to Lara and the environments. I haven't yet played Legend or Underworld, though the latter is available in the PlayStation Store. I think I prefer PC gaming to PS3 for TR. Anyway, I'm going to hunt for AoD after I finish Anniversary, because I'll go mad if I wait too much longer...

Though I own a few consoled I'm also a PC gamer at heart as well - I love having having my nose literally stuck in the monitor and my ears engulfed in the sound coming right out of my speakers. Maximum immersion ftw!

Ahh, the PC was my first gaming console. Every one of my peers thought I was nuts playing games like Myst, TR, Phantasmagoria, all those puzzle-based games while they were out playing PS1. I totally agree with your love for immersion. Sadly, there's only a few games made nowadays that I really get into, and all the ones that have me sitting on the edge of my seat hours into the night wondering what's around the next turn are all made before I was born or games I played in my childhood. *end nostalgic mode*

Though I have to give props to the most recent game I've played that I really got into called Amensia: The Dark Descent. Pretty scary game, but it's mostly psychological horror.
