Description ...because sometimes words aren't needed.

First real experiment with lighting in XNA. Poses took a while, mainly because I'm not used to close-quarters posing yet. Yes, this is for all the K/L lovers out there. ^^

Mmmmh... I love it!
Have you tried pulling the shadow depth slider to the right? That really can help create deeper atmospheres. It's a shame XNALara doesn't support cast shadows (yet? ) though

I'll be sure to try that when I next revisit this scene. It was my first time playing with lighting, and I liked the dim-but-moonlit kind of scene that the lighting parameters gave me for this one, but I'll definitely try the lighting again. Thanks for the tip!

Sure!! Don't be shy to experiment, even with gaudy colours (just make sure to be careful with the intensity of those). They can give the most amazing effects!

Mhmm, I agree, they do make the most amazing effects, especially bright jewel-toned & ombre colors, but any color will do. Still playing with lighting in XNA though, since I don't have access to Photoshop...

I see... hey, what about Gimp as an alternative image processing editor? I haven't tried it myself but people say it's a good one (and free as far as I know)
