Mathew Young: - Born as Kyle Axford, a young and talented chemist, the son of middle-class parents who never had greater life ambitions. Moreover, they liked their life very much on an average level, and this differed them from their son, who had ambitions to be rich and famous.
Well, surely, his talent in the field of chemistry would have helped him, but unfortunately, even bigger than this was his reluctance to work hard and laziness. Mathew simply preferred to be rich using deceit, deception, use of another human, etc. Briefly, anything that couldn't bring him friends, and that was, exactly, what happened, but he didn't care. Mathew was, then, too convinced that he was the best to care about it and pushed everyone away from him.
First were people from his school, then those from work, and finally even his parents, Fed up with him, rejected him. Worse, they did it by kicking him out of the house because they didn't wanted him to continue parasitizing them, and it happened when, due to the scams he did, he lost his job at a chemical plant.
That's, exactly how Mathew became homeless and unemployed, but that didn't change him, not one bit. Well, maybe, but unfortunately for the worse, because instead of rethinking his behavior, Mathew got involved with criminals and began to become their drug producer. In short, he fell very low and was even going to drop this job when he got back on his feet, or at least, it was his plan at the beginning.
Then Mathew found out that it was quite a lucrative job, and since people were never important to him, he had no problem doing it. He even loved doing it more, especially since his boss had access to the most expensive chemistry in the world, give him the most modern laboratory, and paid him very well. In other words, gave him everything Mathew could dream about along with the women, power, and money, or at least until it was so until he met Addison Payton with whom he fell in love, anyway, with reciprocity, and that changed him.
All because Addison had convinced him that what he was doing was wrong and he should stop it, and Mathew was ready to obey her and give up his old life. The problem was that he couldn't because of his boss, Darell Mitchell, so he had to get rid of him first, and that was, exactly, what he intended to do by handing him over to the police. Well, or at least trying, because, unfortunately, this man had his spy in the police force, so quickly discovered that Mathew was working on two fronts, and he didn't like that at all. Moreover, he was pissed off and, using Matthew as an example, decided to warn everybody of what awaited the traitors.
To do this, he sent thugs to first cruelly beat Mathew by using torture, which they did in his laboratory. More specifically, they did by brutally hitting and kicking combined with pounding him against everything he had in the lab, including the chemistry he bought and by electrocuting him. In short, it was a very brutal beating that put a mass of various life-threatening chemicals in his blood, but Mathew did not give up.
Well, at least until the second pair of thugs came with his sweetheart and did three horrible things in front of him. The first was her brutal beating, the second was to rape her, and the last to kill her, which was enough to make him lose his will to fight. Then the bandits gave him the second round of brutal beating literally, smashing the laboratory with him and almost killing him in this process.
The keyword, almost because they only did it when they drove him to a river outside of town, where Darell was depositing the corpses and illegal chemical waste. There they electrocuted Mathew in the back, causing him to fall straight from the Clif into the river, and then they threw a damaged bolt gun after him, thus killing him.
Well, at least they thought so because Mathew survived. What's more, thanks to the combination of chemicals, toxic waste from the water, and high voltage, he gained superhuman physical fitness, regeneration, super immunity, and heightened senses. In other words, anything that could have helped him become a hero, and that was what happened over time.
First, however, Mathew was fished out by fishermen and, hiring himself as a sailor, began his journey through the world. More precisely, one, during which he learned many martial arts, acrobatics, parkour, detective technique, and much more. Briefly, everything to prepare him for the role of the hero he became when he returned to town, but he honestly doesn't see himself that way.
Actually, Mathew considers himself an imperfect suicide. After all, he lost everything, even his own identity, because he is presumed dead, so now he only has to die, and that's what he's going to do. More precisely, taking with him as many bad guys as possible until one of them succeeds in killing him and therefore he didnt care about risk or the danger.
