On a routine mission, Rescue Force Sigma-17 was sent to one of the moons of Mars, Phobos, to find a distress signal of a lost cruiser, but it was a prank set up by no other by Starscream and his despicable Seekers. They made quick work of the squadron and dismantled their ship for parts. But out of the rubble of the ship, came a brave Autobot avenger that will hunt down the Seekers until Starscream falls. His name was Blades. He saw the fall of Rescue Force Sigma-17 as a sign of revenge against the Decepticons, he was armed with twin swords and a heat-seeking shuriken that could latch on every surface. As he came to Earth, Optimus Prime welcomed him to the Autobots and his quest for avenging his friends began.

About Transformers Into the Nexus:
Transformers Into the Nexus is a Transformers character redesign series and also a fanon fighting game with elements from the Marvel Vs Capcom series, Killer Instinct and the Super Smash Bros. series. Some of the roster includes characters that are notable favorites (like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Megatron), characters that were left in the dust (like Crumplezone and Ransack) and my own original characters.

Nexus Blades is a combonation of Rescue Bots Blades, G1 Blades, G1 Sideswipe and Skylanders Superchargers. First, let's talk about both Blades, this is one of the most rare cases of a redesign: Using Rescue Bots as a inspiration, and I just did that. Nexus Blades borrows some elements of the acrophobic Blades from Rescue Bots, includng the body design and Blades's squad name (Rescue Force Sigma-17). It also borrows the color scheme from G1 Blades. Blades. As for taking cues from G1 Sideswipe, it borrows the "more into the battle" and the swords he uses in Devastation. In the vehicle mode, the inspitarion for it was the Stealth Stinger from Skylanders Superchargers, in fact, I got the Nitro variant of it for Christmas last year! Anyway, I just sticked with the two rotor blades instead of the Stinger's four. Now, the voice actor is a bit tricky, some may say that a character like him would be voiced by Travis Willingham (the voice of someone, I'm not tellyng you who, tho!) or even Will Friedle (Voice of both RiD 2015 Bumblebee and Nexus Bumblebee), but I just found a voice actor that is not worth the trouble, Mark Lund, voice of Falco in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U. Nexus Blades was a bit of a crazy ride for me, and it took me some time to carefully ace the perfect avenger. In the game, Blades is no pushover, he is a rushdown character that is menacing.
