Fire is destructive and so is Hot Shot, a member of the Lightning Strike Coalition with a can’t stop, won’t stop attitude. But like all heroes, he came from a small beginning. He was a street punk who sold Cybertronian firecrackers, which were illegal across the universe, and a freelancer Cybertronian graffiti artist, rivaling the works of the Decepticon Spitfire. Sometimes, he parodies and draws over his art. This started to enrage Spitfire and so began their art war. They did graffiti all over Cybertron, Iacon, Kaon, Polyphex, the Rust Sea, all over the place! Until he sabotaged Spitfire’s art supplies, causing the ‘Con’s arrest. After a successful sabotage of his rival, Hot Shot deserved a break from graffiti work… but it was short lived. Outside his condo, there was an ominus glow. The Lightning Strike Coalition came to him, he thought he was in trouble, but Bumblebee saw his art and the sabotage of his rival. He wanted him to join his team, he accepted the offer. What was in store for him was something he never expected: To join the Autobots and fight the Decepticons. He never enters the battle without his forearm mounted flamethrowers, Cybertronian firecrackers and ruthless attitude. Plus watch out for his spray cans, they are actually bombs. Hot Shot took the mantle of leader of the Coalition after Bumblebee left, now, his destructive ways are coming to Earth.

About Transformers Into the Nexus:
Transformers Into the Nexus is a Transformers character redesign series and also a fanon fighting game with elements from the Marvel Vs Capcom series, Killer Instinct and the Super Smash Bros. series. Some of the roster includes characters that are notable favorites (like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Megatron), characters that were left in the dust (like Crumplezone and Ransack) and my own original characters.

This Transformer never seen the spotlight since his cameo in the Animated cartoon, and I'm glad to see him remade in my image! Nexus Hot Shot is a pyromaniac who is ruthless in the battlefield. In the game, he's a zoner and a precision fighter, meaning he has projectiles that have a sweet spot for brutal damage. Think of that as Cinder from Killer Instinct meets Marth from Melee. Now for his design, he is based on Armada Hot Shot with a color scheme that is an homage to Movie Optimus Prime. The best part is the rebellious attitude, and Lúcio from Overwatch fits the bill. Both were artists of different forms of entertainment, Lúcio had music and Nexus Hot Shot had art, and freedom fighters for their people. Jonny Cruz just nails Lúcio very well, I hope he rocks Hot Shot!
