Description
Just a tribute to one of my favorite Beetleborgs monsters, Venus Claptrap. This flower could spray an incendiary pollen, as well as pull people into its petals with a long stretchy tongue from its center maw. It sucks them into its belly, where victims can hang from vines until they fall into the purple digestive slime.Check out the episode here:

The monster managed to get 2 of the 3 heroes in this particular episode, but they gypped me out of a good scene with their comic cutaway sequence, and of course the monster loses in the end and everyone goes free...lame. But...thanks to the magic of a little perverted creativity, Venus Claptrap lives on.

Oh that's awesome! Claptrap had one of the most dangerous bellies...No sitting on the bottom peacefully like Invenusable Flytrap, here you dangle for your life above the goopy purple gastric slime. This picture reminds of that as well.
Would love to have seen the girl fall in and swallowed up by the purple goop, the 'digestion' a mixture of energy drain and absorbing her powers as she surrenders her form and becomes part of the muck. Making Β Claptrap's powers grow while the hero can be kept indefinitely to power her or be spat out as a seed to grow into another Claptrap

I never saw that episode. or the original Japanese Juukou B-Fighter one featuring the character (I'm more into Super Sentai than I am into Toei Hero, exception being Uchuu Keijii Gavan ), but he does look interesting based on your sketch

I hope someone re-posts that scene since the youtube gestapo pulled it as usual. I used to watch that show as well since it was a tap more ridiculous then Power Rangers, and didn't take itself so seriously. Can't believe I missed this ep since carnivorous plants are my fave creatures.

My favorite baddie on Beetleborgs was the were-cat that infected one of the heroes.
Also remember when they changed the actress who played the girl? She got hit by a spell that made her look different and then the genie made it so that nobody would notice except them. So lame. XD

I remember Kat, who became some kinda dreadlock cat monster who was kinda cute, but I don't remember the storyline surrounding that at all. What was the deal with it?
In terms of old shows I like for fetish reasons, I almost like not seeing the old show again, because I often end up liking what I remember over what really happens. (That's what I was going for here - monsters doing just what I want them to heh)

I don't remember the show that well either. What I do remember was a cat monster attacked one day, but got away, and the next day one of the male leads was turning into a cat monster at school.

You could always make your own Sentai show. All you need is a camera, some spandex bodysuits, and a monster or two. I'm sure you could make those.
I remember that he was transforming at school, and his hands turned into claws and he tried to hide them in big rubber gloves. I kept thinking "Gosh those gloves stand out more than the cat paws!"

Hehe very cute and kinda hot too...I love slow progress TFs. Of course my imagination wanted more, as I imagined his hands turned into big round cat paws, and he'd have to wear some puffy toon gloves to hide them. Ahhh well.
