Description
This is Iron-Commander Vaarkul, the leader of my Iron Hands space marines. He counts as Vulkan He'Stan. This model is pretty scratch built, mostly using space marine bits, guitar wire, metal wire, electrical wire, brass etchings, and watch pieces.

I mostly use Necron parts for bionics, though results are usually mixed.

Vulcan: He told me enough, he told me YOU killed him!

Ah was hoping for a suggestion since I'm looking into getting one. Wonder if there are only that are compliant with citadel paints or they just work with anything.

Dude! I still have the feature of your army done by Games Workshop bookmarked in my reference folder! You're an inspiration, and I'd love to see a "how to" youtube video for that army. All the best

Love the forge-blade-flamer thingie.
The shield looks of Aztec design and it gives a pretty bad ass look.
Really nice.

A-HA! I was having a look at your gallery, and I was thinking "I have seen those before" Then I saw this buddy up there, and I remembered I saw him in the Warhammer front page. And I fucking shitted my pants with 'em!
The idea of using watch cogs for this was GENIOUS! Also, the flamer halberd is totally awesome!

Lol, I am a Picard man too. I love them both, but I grew up with TNG so Picard all the way.
Now, did you like Voyager or DS9?

NicholasKay In reply to Evohunter7 [2012-05-21 23:45:09 +0000 UTC]
That's a tough one. I only sort of watched those when I was younger...I remember liking DS9 better, though.

I love DS9, I'll get lynched for this but I reckon it'd be close to the best Trek series in terms of writing. It really went into the "human condition", and Avery Brooks is just amazing. I was so sad when Jadzia died, I nearly cried when Worf howled.
I didn't like Voyager when it first came out. But now that I'm older I can appreciate it better I think. First 3 seasons are weak, but 4 through 7 are great and Janeway is one tough cookie (if a little insane). The only thing that lets it down is when they have an off episode it is horrible.

Thats pretty damn cool. One would think it's a forgeworld minature. XD
I'm needing some orange glass effect/glow effect for the sniper rifles of my eldar rangers. But I think just mixing orange with white won't work.
It would be cool if you could give me a hint there.
