I EXIST!Hi everyone. It's been SOOOOOOOoooo long since I've posted anything. It's not much, but I've had this piece of fanart on the back-burner for a long time, and I finally got desperate enough to make some art for myself and I finished it!
I LOVE THIS MOVIE! It was such an amazing distillation of all kinds of things I totally love, and it was done SO well. I got the art book and the soundtrack immediately
I could go on and on, but I'll spare you.The basic idea with this was that a) I wanted to draw Toothless. b) I wanted to treat the piece as if it was a 2d-animated version of the film. c) I am excited for autumn/autumnal colors.

Toothless' face kind of reminds me of Disney's Stitch and some of his cousins lol. Not to say that that's a bad thing!

generally I've done it by hand in the past and scanned it. But this piece was all digital...I love my Cintiq!

This is lovely! I love the way you drew Hiccup! The composition, actually, is very effective, (the abstract background is very atmospheric) and the colouring (both the tones and the style) is very nice.
