I EXIST!Hi everyone. It's been SOOOOOOOoooo long since I've posted anything. It's not much, but I've had this piece of fanart on the back-burner for a long time, and I finally got desperate enough to make some art for myself and I finished it!
I LOVE THIS MOVIE! It was such an amazing distillation of all kinds of things I totally love, and it was done SO well. I got the art book and the soundtrack immediately
I could go on and on, but I'll spare you.The basic idea with this was that a) I wanted to draw Toothless. b) I wanted to treat the piece as if it was a 2d-animated version of the film. c) I am excited for autumn/autumnal colors.

I love the scaly parts. You made Toothless look less like Stitch and a little more badass than cute
Heeey, might you want to know, I found the Prince of Persia book you did the cover illustration for, and I bought it, a piece of art I tell you! (there was another book of the same series and the cover was blurry! oh, it gave me a heart attack). Well, that's it, for you to know your art is all over Mexico too 8)

Well, I'm glad you do (see the style). I was concerned if I went too accurate to their likenesses I would just be slavishly reproducing the film, and that would just be unnecessary.
