I EXIST!Hi everyone. It's been SOOOOOOOoooo long since I've posted anything. It's not much, but I've had this piece of fanart on the back-burner for a long time, and I finally got desperate enough to make some art for myself and I finished it!
I LOVE THIS MOVIE! It was such an amazing distillation of all kinds of things I totally love, and it was done SO well. I got the art book and the soundtrack immediately
I could go on and on, but I'll spare you.The basic idea with this was that a) I wanted to draw Toothless. b) I wanted to treat the piece as if it was a 2d-animated version of the film. c) I am excited for autumn/autumnal colors.

Hey, you're still alive! And this is utterly gorgeous, as always. I love the colours and the lighting, and while your version of Toothless might not be as relentlessly adorkable as the movie-version, I have to say I love that little grin.

I actually prefer fanart like this - perfect replicas are kind of pointless; I enjoy seeing artists do their own takes on things.
