Description So I finally uploaded this guy, entirely unhappy with the result, but I was getting tired of playing with it, and in fairness I have too many other pieces I'm supposed to be finishing right now.

Thanks for viewing, and I look forward to getting back to the rest of the 20 creatures once I've met a few deadlines.

(and of course there's a good chance I'll change my mind and edit this again later heh!)

The pose is rather cool, but the lack of contrast between the front right claw and the jaw detracts from the design. I'm liking the creature itself too, very original!

Yeah I was never entirely happy with the way this guy turned out, I plan to repaint the feet entirely at some stage, but I have too many half finished things to get out of the way in the mean time

I kind of understand why you would feel unhappy with this, from what I've seen in your gallery you can do better. The shading looks a little flat at some parts and the back legs look asymmetrical, even with the difference in their positions I sense there is something off. But on the common standards this is very good, looking forward to the rest of the creatures.

The teeth look impressive. They remind me of the plastic periodontitis models mom has hoarded in her examination room.
(she's a vet)

Wow, that's nice I don't like his claws, they seem to stick out too much. Apart from that - its great, you shouldn't think so bad about it
And geez I'm the same with unfinished pieces, but where and when will I find the time to paint them?... ;(

thanks for checking it out again I'm not too sure what you mean, but I'd say they aren't really finished (they were the last part I did and I was really bored with the whole thing by then. can you be more specific? then I'll bear it in mind if I decide to rework this guy as I say, your feedback is appreciated
