The Canary Islands' Roque Cinchado (also called petrified tree or thumb of god) on Tenerife with the celestial stars shifting in the sky on a solitary, cold night. The Pico del Teide, Spain's highest elevation peaking at 3718m, towering in the background. Unlike the title most of the night was spent in utter silence without a sound drawing near. JanPusdrowski and I stood there half the night for several compositions since his camera got stolen more on that here: www.gofundme.com/7uwazk ,he had to use mine for the duration of our stay. Nonetheless we both got some good pictures in store! Hope you enjoy!
