Round 1 is prom themed and also flower themed. I picked fuchsia (the dollar princess and/or dark eyes varieties, in particular) for the shape of her dress. I'm not sure about the symbolism but it sure looks cute on her! (it actually took me a while to settle on a flower that worked well with her hair color, I was going for amaranth or wisteria at first but none of them worked particularly well for a dress)
also forcing myself to stick to same style/format for my entries, picture dimensions and all.Β the background took a whole lot of tweaking until it looked just the right amount of "busy" for my tastes

Now that is an impressive flower dress! I doubt you could have picked a more perfect flower to turn into such a beautiful dress. Not to mention that all the colours just work together so well.

Well as far as I know, you couldn't have picked a more perfect flower. ^^ Perfect colours (as I already said XD) and def a more unusual shape that you worked well with.
It's things like this that bring some extra joy in the pageant. Never know what you might end up seeing. ^^
