entry for round 3, "The Picnic of Extravagant Hats"

All dolled up for afternoon tea! her hat of choice is a bonnet, good for sun protection, won't blow away in the wind, not to mention super cute!

Both the hat and the garden picnic themes go pretty well with goth lolita which is a blessing because I've been dying to draw her in something frilly for the whole tournament since frilly things make up at least a third of her canon outfits. (also her hair looks more massive than usual cuz they're in pigtails)

the hardest part of this entry was probably picking a backdrop...I immediately wanted to go all out with pastel colors and blue skies and 270 miles of vegetation but I also didn't want to sacrifice AESTHETIC (still trying to stick to the same style for all these and it's HARD) so I compromised and used a much softer shade of black than I used for the last 3 entries. it's some sort of garden gate I guess!
