Next >>Here's what I've been working on for about the last two months! :'D This is a short comic commissioned by of their characters Coal and Spirit, where Spirit tries to teach Coal how to use a sword. I really enjoyed working on it so I hope you all enjoy!

Alrighty I'm finally working up the nerve to go ahead and comment on ALL THE COMMISSIONS :""D lets see if I'm able to come up with something to say about each page, prepare for repetitiveness lol!
So I know I commissioned the cover AFTER getting the pages which is a strange thing to do but you somehow managed to take my last minute idea together into a cover that coincided with the rest of the comic pretty much seamlessly! the poses and angle you chose for this picture is also super clever in showing the relationship between Spirit and Coal ;u; with Coal being all blushy and "center focus," with Spirit's full attention on him/back to the viewer??? Idk much about how to compliment composition but you did fantastic with this!!
And like other people in the comments said as well, you did an incredible job with the scenery here!! all those little grass and ground textures, or even just the ferns and bark are so gorgeous and soft - detailed enough to make looking at it have my hand cramp in sympathy but not OVERLY detailed to take away from the focus being the characters!!

The amount of detail in the tree bark and surrounding grass/ferns is just insane... I can't imagine how many hours it must take you to paint backgrounds alone. That is some serious talent- I'm shocked some studio hasn't snatched you up yet! You could totally be a professional working for Disney, or Dreamworks or something. [unless you already are doing something like that and I'm just dumb heh].
