Description
Blend file with the material included in the DOWNLOAD.Metal base materials that uses generated texture mapping method (no UV's needed).
These materials r ment to be a good starting point to build a metal look you needed.
I used them all the time if i need to make a specific metall so i dont have to start form zero.
Tried to make the materials as user friendly as i can.

I've made some materials, but they are so extensive, the headache got and almost no desire to work with Blender.
Your materials are well thought-out and make it a pleasure to work.

litle tip when dealing with complex materials: use groups and frames(ctrl+j) as much as possible, it helps a lot to organise materials. Also use ''H'' to collapse nodes that you know that wont be edited.

I had 2 exhibitions with painted pictures 4 years ago, then I got sick and started with 3D. In the meantime, I know that the disease (metabolic disorder in the brain) is a genetic defect and will always remain, so I start again to paint, maybe I can make an exhibition once again and sell something.

Sorry to hear that. Well to organised an exhibition you don't have to be present there. A family member or a guardian can be you're representative. You just keep making awesome art!

Yes, the last exhibitions helped my wife very much. 
There are hormones that are responsible for a sense of happiness, these become less and less the older one becomes when one has the genetic defect. Tablets help, but not at all, the chances are 50 to 50.
Unfortunately the hormone tablets have only brought 30%, it is like Alzheimer's, you lose the short-term memory and can not concentrate and is always tired.
The whole started about 7 years ago, but only last year was the diagnosis.
Of course this is bad, because I do not earn any money anymore, so I start painting again, because with 3D art, it is difficult to earn something because the market is saturated and it is not unique.

With your drawing skills if you ever decide to get backs to 3D actively, you will have a lot easier time making good materials. It all ends up how much time you got to invest in playing with the nodes.
