Description
First of all, I want to say that this was inspired by soooo many deviations out there and I think I can't even put that much thumbs in this description box. But basically, *ContagiousPixie and =suicide-bee were in my mind when shooting this. I am not ripping of their photos, I just took a few things from their images and a rather cliché concept and gave it my personal touch to make it more original. I hope that it worked out!
Anyway, this was a fast shooting, I took 50 photos, 40 were unfocused and 5 had a weird composition. Just because of this stupid sun which hid behind the clouds all day and then suddenly decided to come out and disturb my photo-shoot.
Super sharp images are sharp!

It really does look amazing. pale body with all those freckles...so fragile and mortal...and those hands like something from the inside is waking up and trying to get out and swap with the body which keeps it locked, deep down away from the eyesight...

Nikko, I just have to ask, what did you use to paint your hands? It looks so smoothe or was it done in the post-processing?

It's just acrylic, aha. I retouched a little at the thumbs because it wiped off at these parts, other than that, it's all just acrylic and no post-processing.

This turned out amazing. The simplicity and limited amount of colors make the photo great. I would love to see more tension in the hands and the camera in portrait orientation instead of landscape because the only thing you need from the background is the color and since the real striking part of the photograph is the hands, that's what needs to be shown. Maybe you could even tilt your head back and give the camera a profile view of your face which can be used to convey even more emotion.

Wie die Farben miteinander gehen, ist toll! Deine helle Haut zu den grüngrauen Händen, der braunbronzefarbene haarschopf und der grüne Hintergrund, der so gut verschwommen ist. Hätte er details wäre es nicht so gut!
Ich mag solche Rückenbilder, wo man das Rückrat sieht und die Schultern, ich mag diese Kröperteile einfach. :'D
Das mit den gefärbten Händen war eine super Idee. Die Farbe ist einfach so passend, eine andere könnte ich mir da gar nicht vorstellen. Und du hast viele Muttermale!
Es sieht so aus als würden dich die Hände hinabziehen, zu sich holen, weil es so nicht so aussieht als wären es deine. aber ich denke das war nicht deine Voraussetzung, in dem Fall hätte ich die Hnde mehr angespannt und verkrampft.
So viele Fotos bis man endlich mal ein brauchbares hat! o: klar, die Sonne hat sich gegen dich verschworen!
Es ist wirklich so superscharf! Die Linse war eine schlaue Investition.

Hast du jedenfalls geschafft. Oder was ich noch mag ist das Bild mit dem Rücken wo diese Rose hinten draufgemalt ist. Das fand ich auch kreativ. :3

This is a really interesting shot, they grey of the hands is such a stark contrast between the warm tone of your skin, it's visually very cool and different. Just a great composition overall, well done

I love how you twisted a done-before idea and made it yours!
And also I really love how the hands are not at the same level,one is slightly below the other one.
And that your shoulders are slightly tilted.
AND that there are two trees in the background that frame the part of your head that's visible.
I am simply amazed at how you get such perfect compositions in your self portraiture.
And again,the barely edited colours.
It really lets the image speak.
You are an amazing photographer.
